The Luck Mansion Sessions.
On September 19th - 24th 2016 Luck Reunion and Third Man Records took over a mansion in East nashville creating an analogue studio space with the goal of inspiring collaboration. Artists were invited to perform live and record 2 songs as part of a series called the “luck mansion sessions”. We provided a sandled chef, a house mixologist named “floyd’, and unlimited tape. this is what happened...

I am from Austin Texas, was born there in 1956. I was there when the Austin music scene was an infant. Rodney was a big part of that Austin music. Love this song!

Petah49 Only came across John Paul during the Coronavirus outbreak - but just love the music he makes with Rodney (and also Roseanne on 'It ain't over yet") their an amazing combination of voices. Note the look of pure joy and admiration from the young bespectacled guy on the stairs at about 3.00 minutes on Don't Think That I Can't Feel You When You're Gone when Rodney lends his guitar playing talents to the performance - priceless!

Rodney Crowell exemplefies "Songwriting" - both of these guys are great songwriters and singers - I was especially touched by Rodney's song - all the best songs come from our lives - these guys are the real deal - thanks for giving us your art guys :)

I'm conflicted about White, because his reticence comes across as so diva to me. He's undeniably talented and yet I really, actively dislike his music, not in spite of, but because of how good it is. I have no such conflict about Crowell. I'm here for everything he produces.
