It's not up to chance, this is because accounts with low trophies have a higher chance of getting better things. For example, I received the Star Powers and Hermes Max skin in my account with 11 thousand trophies, but I received the Meg, Meg's super rare skin and another super rare skins in my side account with 6 thousand trophies.
tbh, I’ll probably never ever use griff unless when my friends want to be on my team and they ask me to use griff like when I ask them “Which brawler should I pick?”
