@@seantai2042 yes every spotify wrapped season it says i’m in his top 0.01% listeners hahahah. and basically what i meant was before his music was super popular lucki was known around the city for scamming people for features and hitting licks with his crew and things like that. also his first couple managers were andrew barber & joefreshgoods (two very important figures in music & streetwear) that’s why i said he’s been considered a chicago urban legend because you would hear stories about him before you ever knew about his music
@seantai2042 back when this album dropped lucki was really the only artist making music like this, he was quite literally one of a kind. First ever melancholy phycadelic rapper in the game. I doubt most of his fans from back then still listen to his new shit, it's just not the same anymore, he got commeralized by trying to fit the industry, he has numbers now and his music is still good, but its not as one of a kind, personal and unique as it used to be he switched his sound to something more pleasing for the masses
