Whether it's Game & Watch hitting an unexpected 9 hammer (or two!), Luigi misfiring 5 times in a row, Peach pulling an insanely unlikely number of stitch faces/bob-ombs back to back, item/stage shenanigans, or any of the other countless ways RNG can affect Smash games, there's no denying that RNG and luck in Smash can make for some absolutely hilarious and amazing highlights.
So here is a video showcasing the luckiest moments in Smash!

PS: For the Falcon Punch clip where he lands on Randall, I know it looks like he could have potentially done it on purpose, but the player that landed it (Geoff) has stated in the past that it was a misinput and he just got super lucky that Randall was there at exactly the perfect time. Right, but that's only if you were to declare "I am about to pull 2 bobombs". If you pull 50 times in a set, the binomial probability goes up massively. Likewise, we aren't even really looking for "two bobombs in a row", we're looking for "any two special items in a row (stitch/bomb/saturn/beam)". You have around a 2.5% probability of drawing any special item. To draw two specials in a row, you have a 0.062% chance. If you pull 50 turnips in a set, you have 49 chances to pull two in a row, so using binomial probability you have a 3% chance of drawing two special items. If you play 24 sets where you pull 50 turnips each time, you have a 52% chance of doing this. And now keep in mind, we don't even care who the peach is, we are just interested in /any/ peach who does this. If you watch 24 of any set involving a peach you will probably see this happen.

@@AlexRoseGames It's a 1/128 to pull something from the item table. Within the item table there is a 3/6 to pull a Saturn, a 2/6 to pull a bomb, and a 1/6 to pull a beam sword. The chance of Mr. Saturn is .39%, bomb is .26% and beam sword is .13%.

Chris H Pokémon Stadium has random transformation of the stage and it chose the Grass area as a transformation. The Link and Sheik were essentially pulling off an infinite grab combo with the Sheik grabbing him and the Link jabbing. The only way this can be broken is with the stage transforming and breaking the grab. The stage transformed however and it lifted the both of them up allowing the combo to be continued.

Computers random generates are flawed, as so it is common for it to roll the same number repeatedly and never touch others. It's why when using rng characters it feels like some matches you get 12 9's in a single match and in other matches you didn't get a single one even though if lasted 10 minutes =b

I love how as he’s about to take a sip he glances over to his opponent who’s seemingly popping off. And likely confused as to why his opponent is making a big deal out of such a small moment, he simply shrugs for a brief second only to turn his gaze towards the TV, as he’s realize; He’s won.

Man, I'm really cracking up watchin' "Die coole Crew" guy from 0:10 to 0:20, as he slowly transforms from reasonable frustration (shakes head), to amusement (grins), to just plain overwhelmed (lowkey popoff-cancel-to-exit). This whole video is excellent, but that small segment is a treasure! Much respect to him for takin' it in good stride.
