Today we compare three bags using the same fabrics, but with different builds and fills.
All three are the same yet vastly different!!
Which of them is your favorite?

Another great video, thank you for taking the time to make these. You mentioned that you’re using automated machines now, that sounds exciting and scary all at the same time. What trade offs did you have to make when selecting a machine?

Just price. Overall, it's 1000x better than sewing by hand for a few reasons... -don't have to draw the line to sew on -don't have to draw the line to sew on -don't have to draw the line to sew on -every bag is exactly the same and easier to flip now -don't have to draw the line to sew on and lastly -don't have to draw the line to sew on There's been zero drawbacks! bag quality, efficiency, and endurance all went way up. as far as machine selection, went with price and programability.

@@B3Cornhole hmm, so do you still have to draw the line to sew on anymore? Lol. I’m thinking I might start with just a bar tack machine for closures and see if that pays off. Did you start that way, or just dive right in for the whole bag? I don’t think I’m ready for that just yet, drawing the line hasn’t become my number one annoyance yet. My biggest problems are ; A) Cutting fabric perfectly straight, B) Finding a bright enough light board, C) Determining how much each fabric will loosen up during break in, D) waiting for your next videos!

started with a basic store bought sewing machine and used that until i could pick up an industrial machine (got one free, just had to clean it up and fix it) nearly everything is in the 1hr livestream video we did back in Jan '21, check that video out for more insight :) Drawing the line will quickly become your number one annoyance :) A, make a guide out of plexiglass B, amazon C, wouldn't worry about that too much D, coming soon!!

Great video! Can you explain how most ACL stamped bags have a corner radius of 1"-1.5" when the bag policy states, "corners cannot be rounded more than 0.5” on a 6” x “6 bag"?
@B3Cornhole
@B3Cornhole 2 года назад
1.5" radius describes the size of the overall shape, the 1/2" corner thing is the distance from the tip of the bag corner the the same corner of a 6" square corner

@@B3Cornhole Thanks. I was thinking that must be the case. That's a strange way of measuring a rounded corner. Also, if my math is correct, a corner with a 1.5" radius results in a 0.612" critical measurement. But that's the measurement of the template and not the resulting bag, I guess.

Another great video! I like the concept of comparing different manufacturers using the same material...I see you have become more open to sharing the actual material names, and hopefully that will bring an even wider variety to this bag type.

You bet! When there's dozens of clone bags I think the comparison is best. Three bags at once is probably my limit though. As far as fabrics go, if it's super widespread and already common among bag makers, I don't mind saying the name.
