I know, for me I personally prefer this sound in the video. It sounds more bright and jazzy. however his current sound is amazing for a bari sax, idk what happened I think it has to do with his old mouthpiece.
@@Walasqueegee I'm talking about his style back then not just his sound on the instrument. He seems much more confident in his playing now and is able to step out much more, even a year later he had the Leo sound everyone knows him by
Listening to the differences between this recording, the 2016 release, and their shows today really shows me what years of practicing and hard work can do. I like this recording and I’m blown away by Danza 2016, but I’m completely in love with their most recent recordings. ❤️
It’s great watching you guys play these songs, your music is great and even though this was made years ago I still can’t get over the amazing way you all blend your sound
@@joeyfletcher5281 he's grooving here and there like around 2 mins in and 2:30 ish. Guess he wasn't as flamboyant as he is now but he can't do his usual spins and kicks and get a good studio recording doing that.
I swear I love this group. The amount of TALENT and dedication shows so much in their playing. Absolutely show stoping. I can only imagine how amazing they sound in person, they give me chills just watching/listening on the internet!
I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something I absolutely love about the original video in the subway. Maybe it’s the rawness of the video, maybe it’s the awesome dance skills idk. But whatever it is, it’s just absolutely amazing
It's amazing to see how much your sound has evolved over the years. I've been a fan since before this was recorded, and it's brilliant how much each of you have come out as incredibly talented individuals, but an even stronger core group. Much love ❤️
It's so cool to see how much Lucky Chops' sound has evolved over the years. It brings a tear to my eyes to see how far our beloved group has come in just 6 years :')
Got a little choked up when I saw this. This lineup is what my intro to Lucky Chops was. While I miss the older members a great deal, I am so excited for what you guys have in store for the future!
This feels almost like it's a half step behind the whole time... the tempo uptick for the "mainstream" release definitely kicks it up a notch in intensity. Like both versions though :)
Aw man, I love this. Brings back so many memories, as well as being an amazing piece. You guys have influenced so much of my playing and my growth as a young musician, I can’t stop smiling :)
Super cool seeing how you’ve all progressed as musicians and entertainers. Love listening to older stuff like this, watching the subway videos is what got me into you guys
Love you guys so much1 Ever since i've heard this music i've listen to it and transposed it and have my own band " Hoot 'N' Holler" modeled just like ya'll!!
