@@beansama171 he doesn’t get all that high in this one (I played all throughout middle and high school) he plays higher in funky town, I think the hardest part about that is the volume he gets, that takes a crap ton of air and kills your face really quick, I played in Pep band for my school and I had to do stuff like that lol
they should give the drum player a chance to smash out a solo, it'll give the song a little variety, and itll be a welcome surprise seeing as rarely anyone notices.

It’s a tonguing technique that he uses quite often. It can be achieved by doing a breath attack with a modification so the articulation is more “honk” like. At least that’s what works for me. I agree it sounds super cool!
