What they wouldn't do without this amazing trumpet player though, yes We miss the tenor but still with him this guy deserves mad props the lungs and mouth. tongue work is OUT STANDING
I'm saddened that people bash on the band because Leo left. I understand that he was an amazing member that complemented the band but he wasn't the whole band. I'm sorta glad that Leo left. Since he left he was able to do more with his own band. Too Many Zooz is an interesting band that people sleep on because it's not "Lucky Chops" but most of Leo's well known Bari licks come from that band. Lucky Chops have also begun to improve on their craft. Before it was more like "We play, then a Bari solo from Leo." now its "Everyone gets a part of the song together and we each flesh out our playing." Name one Lucky Chops song post "Leo 's leave" where Leo didn't have a solo. I give props to Leo for being saxophone Jesus but we can forget the amazing talent from others such as the Joshes (Trumpet and Trombone) Daro (Tenor) Charles (Drum set) and Buyo (Sousaphone). People can still miss Leo being a part of the band don't get me wrong, but bashing the band for losing him is not only insulting to the hard work put into the musicianship of both the bands "Lucky Chops" and "Too Many Zooz" but Leo himself.
Hope one day i'll see you in france, UK, Netherland or belgium I can travel for that kind of shit ... Listen to your band is like flying on the music wave ... I LOVE Lucky Chops
I love how the band sometimes will have a subtle uniform. Like this time most of them are wearing pink hats. There was another video in the subway where Leo's hair was that highlighter yellow. And most of the guys were wearing that same color yellow on their shoes.
These guys killed it!! I play the alto sax and I am a beginner. I definitely don't sound close to the guy who was playing the sax!! Great job guys, you sound fantastic 😁
Hey guys!!! Awesome job!!! I've been playing the saxophone for 10 years now. Primary sax for me is the baritone saxophone. Would love to do a collaboration with you guys sometime!!!! Only problem is I live all the way in illinois😂
For those who don't now where the Leo is, he left the lucky chops because he was playing in two diferent band: The Lucky Chops and Too Many Zooz, they all decide Leo left the band to put her amazing skills in just one band. They style are friends. But still, I miss his presence, he was a crucial part of the band, he is like the Michael Jackson of saxophone, just not the same without Leo.
This recorded in 2015, I'm pretty sure he was with Lucky Chops at the time of this recording. I think he was just somewhere else at the time, most likely traveling with Too Many Zooz would be my guess.
