kagami is how to properly do a tsundere. not overly loud, phsyical, and insecure. just shy about being embarrassed but also has a personality beyond that
Kagami is what a Tsundere would be like in real life. No violence, just a sharp tongue if provoked but has an otherwise warm personality. And that’s why she’s the best Tsundere
The characters being "tsundere", "moe", etc are more Konata being an otaku and labeling people with anime terms than how their personalities actually are.
Yeah, this type of tsundere exists, but I think they DO exist. :p Like... Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate. :? And like, the type of tsundere that gets upset for legitimate reasons like some person or other keeps trolling and teasing them and pushing their buttons, as opposed to the annoying accidental pervert thing, and they get mad at the poor other person for arguably dumber reasons and aren't as nice or something and maybe even have much depth to their character for being that way, or something. :p We need more likable tsunderes. :p (And more good male tsunderes like Kyo from Fruits Basket. :p).
THE KAGAMI WAITS FOR HER ALLEGED CRUSH THING MAKES MY HEART SINK SO HARD you know she wants to be loved so badly but she doesn't want to show it, I can't watch that scene without going a little blank-eyed
Yeah, that who build up and scene made me think she was going to get one and the friendshap dynamic would have fewer scenes of her with her friends while kagami is happy. And when she is with them the mood feels different jokes not getting a rise out of her. And her choice of clothes Express that too. What im learning is i need to write a book and not a comment
Actually, Word of God (Kagami Yoshimizu) confirms that Kagami is in love with Konata. He left Konata's feelings a bit more ambiguous. Although, knowing Konata, she's probably bi - still, for all the teasing and trouble I do think the feelings are reciprocated. And , hey, look at the way they were interacting in Mikawai-ke no Kufuku.
Since I watched Madoka Magica before Lucky Star and it left quite a large impact on me, many times when Kagami says something, Kyubey's face just comes up in my head instead. And that makes me burst out a laughter every time xDDD
When I was younger Konata was my favorite character. And I still love her but as I got older I realized that Kagami was my favorite because I relate to her a lot.
My favourite Kagami moment is when she yells at Patty for moving too slowly with the preparations for the cheerleading routine /along with her "I can't hear you! La la la la la la!" routine/ in episode 24 and takes control of the group that's doing it. It shows Kagami's leadership and organizing skills quite well.
Minami is true best girl, and the only correct choice for a waifu. If you're really set on one of the four main characters, though, pick Kagami every time. Konata's a total bitch, really. She's constantly mocking and insulting Kagami, and if Kagami ever stands up for herself, Konata just smirks and goes "tsundere desu~~~" in a patronising voice. If you want an irredeemably objectionable total cow for a waifu, then by all means pick Konata, but Kagami is actually a considerate person who isn't awful, and most people don't want awful girls as their waifu.
Not the way I portray her in my headcanon. Yutaka can't be anyone's waifu. She belongs with Minami. As for Kagami? She and Konata were made for each other. Miyuki's good-looking enough to have boys all over her, I ship Patricia with Hiyori, my headcanon portrays Misao as a ruthless jerk with Ayano as her submissive companion, and the other, manga-exclusive characters aren't part of my headcanon yet.
Kalenz Probably the way she was acting about it, and her mentality. She was behaving like a 7 year old when she committed the action of holding her drink in the straw
>Konata calls Kagami "Kyo-chan" >Kagami looks similar to Kyou Fujibayashi from Clannad That was either an awesome reference or an unnatural coincidence.
Leeroy Jenkins You're right, XD! Hiiragi Kagami is a Tsundere to the core, although his weak point as a character was that (I think) it is not entirely clear why Hiragii Kagami acted in that way or why he developed the "Tsundere complex" in his personality. Her other weakness is that she didn't have a man to interact with and her "relationship" with Konata was left a bit ambiguous.
@@Legendary_Detective-Wobbuffet NOPE The one that reinvented the term "Tsundere" was Asuka Langley Soryu / Shikinami from the 1995 anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion" created by Hideaki Anno. Lucky Star (Hiragii Kagami) was first broadcast in 2007 (more than 10 years after the premiere of the original Evagenlion anime).
It is rather a coincidence. The K-On manga existed in 2007, and the Lucky Star came out in 2003. We highly doubt the chapter was made when K-On was first released, let alone referenced the manga since I have not seen any references in the Lucky Star manga.
Everyone get's angry at the doll clip But that guy didn't have the full context For him This was just a normal request about some doll That's it Y'all got angry over something normal She was just making herself a whole Romance *Anime* scene But no It was just a normal request in a normal street In a normal night Pretty much what Lucky Star is A normal but fun anime
That scene at the end, with Kagami standing there all alone with everything around her - that moment is what did it for me, and my heart went with her from that moment on.
It’s been YEARS and that one scene still irrationally pisses me off lol. If I were Kagami, I’d straight up tell him “ya know what, for wasting my time you’re not getting this stupid doll. Fuck you” because I’m petty like that
Kagami + Yaoi = how normal people react to yaoi. Especially good yaoi. And I understand the talk between Kagami and Tsukasa. This is what sisters do (speaking from experience).
Hearing Tsukasa talk about her menstruation cycle so casually seems a bit out of picture, but seeing that she is talking with Kagami.. it makes sense why she feels so comfortable.
(Perfect, just as planned....) In my world, Miss Izumi drew a manga about you that was so popular but then (in my world) she died letting no one to know who you where.
My 2nd favorite character in Lucky Star, only losing to Miyuki. Even though I identify myself more to Kagami than Miyuki, I can't deny that I'm a klutz too.
"-tai" is a suffix put at the end of a verb to express desire (e.g. mitai - want to see). In this situation we hear, "Kon-BLEEP-tai," which is like hearing, "I want to BLEEP -nata" in English.
It's a funny thing about Lucky Star that Kagami starts off as being the character you probably like least, especially from the four main characters; but as time progresses and you go through liking each of the others in turn (for perfectly good reasons), you could well end up liking Kagami the most. Her character almost certainly is the best overall, and the most significant, without taking anything away from the others. These little moments in the video are a good reminder of just why that is.
