The infamous electric fan scene from lucky star, its hilarious

It's just been confirmed that Takemoto Yasuhiro - the director for the majority of the Lucky Star episodes, was killed in the recent attack on the Kyoto Animation studio.

All that credit goes to this specific fan sub. They did a pretty great job at working with Kagami and how she would roughly sound in English with her personality. It just doesn't compare to the official sub where it reads much more boring. That being said, I forgot where I saw it originally, so unfortunately the official sub is all I got now.

Kagami more literally says, "It's not 'Good morning'!", but I think "Good morning, my foot!" conveys the sense of exasperation Kagami has better.

@@_toulouse Professional translator here. You're absolutely right. We're not supposed to translate things literally. A teacher of mine used to always say that we must translate the meaning. Word for word translations, although what people may think, do not equal accuracy if the sentence makes no sense or sounds weird in the target language.
