Lorenzo (tv show´s of course) hurt many people but i am still not over how he hurt Giuliano. Actually I will miss Giuliano in season 3 a lot. Season 3 looks so good and Lorenzo looks just Magnificent!
SO That's the story. Lorenzo's marriage was a politically arranged affair. I didn't know that important piece of info. Those days everything the MEdici did was politically motivated. Still is done in this century. Royalty married royalty. With few exceptions.
If you’re looking at actual history, Lorenzo didn’t have an affair at all. He deeply loved Clarice and described himself in a letter as “lost” after her death. The affair was put in for drama but if you’re interested in the Medici history, they are wonderful to research :)
