My opinion about kids getting their ears pierced (this is not criticism, just some personal opinions/info): Do not take them to a place like Claire's, where they use a piercing gun. The piercing guns have too much force when they're pushed into the ear, which is usually why kids cry when they get their ears pierced. Also, another reason why not to go to Claire's to get a kid's ears pierced, is because a lot of people who work at Claire's are unexperienced when it comes to handling the piercing gun. Many people prefer the piercing gun because "once it clicks into the ear, it's over and done" however this relates to the first thing I said, the piercing guns just have too much force. Instead, take them to a tattoo parlor where true professionals work with the needle. The needle is a lot more gentle and is very weak, so it does not use a lot of force. Therefore the kid getting said piercing is less likely to cry. If you do go to a tattoo parlor: If the guy working with the piercing is a man with full cleavage tattoos almost everywhere possible, he's a professional. Another thing: It's perfectly okay to cry when you get your ears pierced, especially when they use the piercing gun.
I got a needle and the person at the desk gave me numbing cream! It didn't hurt at all it just felt like a pinch, I also agree that needle gun hurts more and it has a more chance to get infection, and also when I got mine done the place was special for needles not guns!
Firstly, it's inexperienced. Second, I used to work at Claire's. We special train to use a piercing gun, just like we're trained to do our job. 😂 We know what we're doing, and I hate to break it to you, using a piercing gun is not rocket science. It's also much faster than a big scary needle. She cried because she gets babied at home. I just took my daughter who just turned five to get her ears pierced, and she didn't even flinch. Said she didn't feel a thing, but she's also a brave, tough girl, because she's not coddled, babied, and raised to cry at the slightest inconvenience. Not saying anything bad about this child at all, but we all know there's kids out there that cry when they stub their toe, or have the slightest fall.

Absolutely no hate, super cute video and glad she loves her earrings. I think maybe next time go to a tattoo studio because the needles are safer than guns and also they generally don’t hurt as much. Absolutely adorable video though 💜
I got mine 5 months ago and I didn't cry but its my second time my 1st I was shocked but cuz its was now my second I was soo scared I just teared lol my sister was embarrassed and my mom was happy but my dad made me scared that's why I can't 😂 its also okay to cry don't worry ❤also good job parents ❤

Her mom and dad been planning to get Lucy's ears pierced. What a brave girl it's okay Lucy. When she arrved at Caires. They used a piercing gun to pierce her ear and she cried. And it's not good to go to Caires to get your ears pierced. It's better to go to tattoo shop to do it because they use a needle. Don't worry it will be a pich I bellive in you. I like when you're happy not sad because it upsets me. Mercy got her ears pierced and she maybe cried and it's boom and the all over Lucy you got this mommy and daddy been telling Lucy it's ok don't cry take 1 deep breach and then sream it all out of you want to. I'm so happy that Lucy has earrings. You looked so pretty when it was done. Then her mom cleaned the marked spot where they know where they are piercing. But great job Lucy you did so good she was ready to get her ears pierced today. She picked wich earrings she wanted. And then picked out ❤ Earrings. Oh no☹What is she doing she doesn't know what the workers were doing wow so pretty good job and got piercing crown thats says got ears piering at Caires. Nice pickres of Lucy with earring while cleaning it was so cold but Lucy didn't cry whale cleaning. Doted each ear to make sure they are even but thay are not when I see it she went at Caires to do it. And Lucy got it over with. Workers didn't do a good job but Lucy did good. looked at caires earrings for 3 or 6 weeks. A litte marker and i see peole cry when they think its a gun and cry after dont with begining she cried then she looked at pretty earrings i was bad that there was no backings on the earrings. but nice crown they have it wasn't fair that i didn't get one but lucy got it because got the piercing besure to change don't twite them clean 3 times a day ok kids toy hunting at caires and ear piering

I know the little girl wanted to get her ears pierced it was her decision but at that age she is not old enough to make a big decision like that and you gave her false information yes that is your child to make decisions for her not mine but I myself was even 16 years old and this s*** hurts it really does it ain't got nothing to do being big or small or what it freaking hurts and that scares the babies the little kids the where you're telling them it's going to be all right and all that and they experience it and then it's like you can get them to where they'll lose trust in you by teaching them that you're saying it won't hurt but it does hurt so you're doing wrong
