Still watching them 2020. Love how even though their role made them so famous and center staged, they are still so nice and respectful to each other, no drama or cold eyes, they're so humble and friendly. They will always be my two favorite actresses.
That's why I love them so. How many actors are jerks to regular people letting their fame go to their heads. Their relationship in real life Is so heartwarming the type of relationship we what for ourselves.
I have just started watching these. Xena was on a free streaming service and I started watching and said ok this is great I have to by the DVDs set. I have watched xena when I was about 12 when it first came out so I didn't remember the show. But now I'm xena obsessed and can't get past Lucy.
@@Kruppt808 yeah I didn't really know much about Lucy lawless and other things she did till I did my research. When I first started watching Xena as an adult but Lucy is a very good actress. I'm not one for shows with nudity but I would watch Spartacus just to see Lucy and her acting no Matter what. I tried to watch the other newest one with Bruce Campbell but to much blood in that for me. Xena was the perfect balance for me.

I think Lucy really burnt out towards the end of Xena. She said she was so exhausted that she was practically babbling or sth like that. It’s kind of justified imo because playing Xena was so demanding physically, mentally and emotionally. Someone else could have easily crashed and burnt. I feel really grateful for her commitment to Xena and understand why she hasn’t made a similar commitment to any other show afterwards.
@@Kruppt808 Spartacus is not the same. I haven't watched it yet but as far as I know it's not a show with 1-2 female leads, but a whole ensemble, and Lucy's role there isn't half as demanding as Xena.
What exactly do you mean by burned? I saw an interview where they ask her if she was ready to let Xena go, to which she replies that since the fifth season she was ready to let her go, which gives me to understand that she was a little fed up.
@@arihdz1731she hated all the physical work, despite having a stunt double there was still a lot of action she had to do as it was a very physical role and she did not like that aspect of it.

They have become more like each other's character at the start of the show, probably learning from both characters and each other ie. Renee is a bit more open and tougher like Xena at the and Lucy is a bit more calm like Gabrielle. I think Lucy is like her character Xena and Renee is more like her character Gabrielle.
That question at the end tho....and we were conveniently left with no answers. Lucy is also 4 years older then Renee......things that make you go hmmmmm. 🤔🤔🤫🤫

Lucy is bisexual, it seems that they have only seen how she interacts with Renee and they have never seen her that she is like that with many other people, with men and women, she was married twice, both times with men, the face of Robert her husband, It's ecstatic, I mean they have great sex, a gay person can't satisfy their partner if they're the opposite sex, but oh if you're bisexual yes you can, Lucy is bisexual, she accepted it a long time ago, it's disgusting that there are people who say that she is gay (which would not be a bad thing if she were) because that implies that she is inventing or lying in her private life, that is not a good fan, stop insinuating things, she has never lied , she openly accepts her bisexuality.
