Natsu saying "I dont know what happend, but I have a feeling you really saved our asses lucy" just makes me crack a huge smile. She dident even have to say anything, they just knew.
I love Lucy coming into her own, a lot of people forget/don't realize she didn't have the years of fighting/training that Natsu, Gray, and Erza had of course she isn't going to be strong like them at the beginning of the series.
Well now that we’ve cried for Lucy, u know whose next to cry for. In all seriousness I loved that they credited Lucy to saving them, if anyone still taught of her as weak, no one would dare call her weak after this
Lucy is the MVP of this arc, she did it all, saved the day, changed the game, got power up, and character development. Wendy first, Lucy now, we still have three more characters that will be up there as the best characters in this arc. This moment is one of the most influential moments in FT, 248-249 brought drop-out fans again to FT, I was one of them because ULTEAR DESERVE BETTER. Even tho 259 still made them drop out again 😂.
Lucy getting called as Dangerous by a Demon from the Book Zeref is really a feat. Who would've thought about it way before? Lucy had grown so much compared to what she was at the start of the series.

I remember reading this in the manga, when it was first released. Since the Celestial Spirits don't exactly have a spotless record, especially during their debut fights, I dreaded that Mashima would use the Celestial Spirit King the same way. It was a pleasant surprise. that he did live-up to the hype.
When I was reading Lucy vs Tartaros on the manga, people speculated that Jellal will save Lucy cause the next chapter was like "Single Strike of the Stars". Thanks to Mashima that he gave Lucy this incredible moment after all the slander she got on the GMG arc.
Well, what I like about Lucy character is she followed the typical shounen Protag development, unlike others that started strong but ended up being nerfed.🤭
