Wow. Isn't that just the most beautiful song you have ever heard. Chris Broom wrote this as the finale song for his new musical, Rosie. Lucy Thomas will have the starring role as Rosie Boote, a real character whose inspirational story forms the basis for this musical. Lucy has a voice to die for. She can sing anything, as we already know, but musical theatre is definitely a forte. This song is also relevant to us all as individuals and members of the human race. This song is musical inspiration at its absolute best and this is singing of the highest order. Thank you so much for your beautiful reaction and your support of Lucy. The whole musical was written for her. Got it 5 years ago! First studio recording for it was when she was 13! It is on Lucy Thomas rare recordings. Chris broom waited until the voice kids for the final ‘yes’. COVID and her studies delayed the musical now due this autumn in westend.

A divine masterpiece by Chris Broom delivered with such heart and emotion by the greatest female singer on the planet the indispensable talent that is Lucy Thomas. It's difficult to comprehend just how someone still so young (not yet turned 20) can perform with such seeming experience and maturity.
Wow- that was impressive. From the words to the music to that beautiful lady with the Golden voice. This could be the standout equivalent to Never Enough from The Greatest Showman or One Day More from Les Mis. It’s the song that closes out the play that Lucy stars in, in the Fall in London. And that wasn’t an easy song as there was very little repetition in the different stanzas. Good to see you both supporting Lucy for a long time. Love Bella saying Lucy is mesmerizing.

Awesome and mesmerizing Lucy. You gotta remember that Lucy is singing the story of Rosie Boote, and she is referring to changing the world for her. Sure we can translate the story to our modern times, so that would give it a double meaning, and shows the brilliance of the composer, Chris Broom to create a song meaningful to the story line in the early 1900’s and now.
You have NEVER heard the song before because it is an ORIGINAL, first time recorded, said to be the closing song in the Musical ROSIE !!!! Hello !!! Lucy will sing the lead in ROSIE !!! That has been known from the start clear back when Lucy sang the first song for ROSIE,.......STARLIGHT!!! Also the title WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD was written in the context of ROSIE, growing up in an orphanage and eventually marrying into Royality, and her struggles. Yes it can be used today but that is not the purpose of the song. This was discussed on another post. Remember the Musical ROSIE is about the life and struggles of Rosie Boote a real person back in the early 1900's !!! Thanks for the react and hope this helps understand the song !!!

Hi Guys Glad to see you back I always like your reactions especially as you love Lucy. I thought you were aware that Lucy is the star in this musical Chris Broom Wrote this musical with Lucy in mind from the beginning The song "One Day" is from this musical and was the first song Lucy sang for Chris. Soon after he offered her a record contract .Chris said he had written this musical for Lucy to star in ,it has been many years in the making , was interrupted by covid , Lucy still being at school and not being available. But this year all the hard work is going to come to fruition. Personally I am glad that it was not released earlier as Lucy´s voice although beautiful then has matured so much more and she is now untouchable .Thanks for your continued support of Lucy take care
Chris, I don’t think Psi can remember what he had for breakfast let alone that Lucy is the star of Rosie. Some of his past fantasies about what a song means or what is going on musically in the background have caused me some amusement if nothing else. Most reactors also seem not to understand the meaning of the word ‘forthcoming’. But at least Psi and Bella are avid fans of Lucy so perhaps we can forgive them.

In case you don't know where West End is, it is my understanding that West End, London is England's equivalent of Broadway, New York. It makes me wish that I lived in England. Hello I hope you both are well, Lucy new song is from her musical " Rosie " which is opening in London in the fall, Lucy will be the main star and is helping to produce this musical along with her manager and songwriter Chris Bloom, if it goes well then maybe Broadway and then maybe Hollywood if they make a film of the musical. Lucy has her first public concert in Manchester England on March 5th . I can't wait, take care Barbara.
I think with Lucy we’re seeing the “musical treasure” of the century!. She captures us as we become mesmerized by her purity, beauty, clarity and uniqueness. As Lucy sings I feel like I am in another land. It is really something special.
