Great video and a lovely meter. Will definitely get it one day 😅 The only thing I’d like to see be added to this meter is a pancake tube cover/shield since it’s pretty exposed and can be easily damaged

@@allRadioactive I agree, I’ve thought of that before. There is a dose rate filter that can be bought as an accessory that can slide over it, perhaps that could also be used as a cover.

@@abyphysics414 I recently got the MKC-01CA1M (Russian talking Geiger counter) which has a Beta-1 pancake tube and what I really like about it is that the tube is has a slideable beta shield which protects the sensitive tube inside when detecting alpha isn’t required. Also thanks to the design, you don’t need to worry about losing the beta shield
