That was such a close set, both had some great plays. Didn't even realize game 2 was about to go to time till I looked at the clock and saw 20 seconds left. Tea's throw into the still active bell to up-smash was crazy. Maybe that's a set up, but I'd never seen it land like that before

And credit to Marss for putting up an incredibly close fight
As a pacman main TEA is just one of the less pacman mains understanding how to trick the hell out of it. For me he is #1 and Sinji #2. Also big brain move on 26:04, he shows the Gala but secretly loops into the bell. Just watch carefully you will see it :) FYI: Tea defeated marss at Grand Finals couple years ago. Both are Elite players.
That was such a sick catch. I kept watching that interaction to see why Mars got hit. He had played so skillfully around Bell. I didn't want to just assume that he got worn down. The way that he was using back air seemed intentional. Now it makes sense. If he was expecting Gal, he would have caught it with the bair, or at least not died.
there are many great pac mains I think they just don't travel much. sinji is good but he plays pac so campy. my fav (besides tea) was middy from WA but they haven't competed in a long time
fr. its likely an aggressive shift in the meta, like how often Tea literally aggressed out of every string Marss got in him, nair/dair/fair where in the past BIG MONEY Marss would read those and kill him at fujckin 35 every day of the week.
The nerfs made ZSS so much less interesting to watch and play. Don’t know why they were needed. Wasn’t exactly a character you saw much in the meta. Now even Marss only uses her on a matchup basis. He was so entertaining to watch with her before the nerfs.

Damn Tea just forces you to play so passive and non-interactive. Marss is one of the most "in your face" type players I know. His tempo and forcing his opponent into certain positions just makes him great to watch...usually. The intimidation Tea has with PAC-man is unmatched, everyone knows that one slip-up means you get combo'd into oblivion and Marss certainly was not as explosive as he normally is. Maybe it really is time to say goodbye to solo ZSS and grind another character for these kinds of MU's, I know he's practising Joker, but it just seems like a weak excuse next to his ZSS.
Yeah Marss was very scared in all the matches. He almost never landed combos, it was always little hits here and there followed by an immediate retreat, which just seems very mentally exhausting to me.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 this is how the zss Pac-Man mu is. Zss makes disadvantage tough for Pac-Man or Pac-Man can get nasty Galaga combos on ZSS. It’s pretty much lead-based
