I think the Adam Sandler clip referencing Microsoft’s stock being down 3 points wasn’t because of the dented cans, but instead he was saying he needed to save money by denting the cans because with Microsoft’s stock being down, he was losing or not making as much money
About a year late, but in Big Daddy (the Adam Sandler film) when he talks about Microsoft’s stock going down three points, he’s implying that he invested in Microsoft, and now that the stock is down three points, they need to dent the cans at the store to save money.
