Tried to teach my girlfriend league, started with csing, she got alright at simply last hitting, but keeps just playing drafts where she gets shit on and forgets how to cs properly
with 2 mil otp mastery, Its so clear when i watch him play that im better than him in pretty much every way, but somehow hes now higher rank than me and it makes me want to quit.
well since there's no actual difference between iron to silver, they kind of technically are the same rank. The only difference is the luck that shit players have. If you have bad luck and you're a bad player, you're iron, if you have good luck and bad player, silver. Mediocre luck and bad player, bronze. nothing else matters in those 3 divisions.
and if you have great luck and you're bad, you're gold. emerald and plat are where players start playing at a reasonably comfortable "not ass" skill level.
@@tayo1591 blah blah, thats what they all say. meanwhile, im a fuckin beast destroying meta junglers with my big brain an off meta pick. matchmaking has just chosen to curse me to carry shit teams instead of letting me get carried by good teams.
A couple weeks? I played this game for 10 years and they rework and rebalance things so often that I could never tell if I was gonna slap or get slapped. This game is garbage for people with a job and a life.
@@TurtleLover69527 Nahh now that's cope lmao. I have a job, I work on cars M-F. I've made it to diamond (not bragging just saying my rank). League is learnable and challenging but it just depends if you can stomach all of the bullshit League has in it including the community who will legit just ruin games from champ select without typing anything because they're bored or don't care and lock in ghost cleanse AP yasuo mid.
@@YuYuYuna_ Yeah to be fair I just suck at fast twitch video games in general but I think my statement is fair, League is a terrible game for casuals unless you play ARAM with your friends
6:55 to be fair I do agree that Yone's frankly bs E does not feel like 5 seconds, it feels like freaking 10. I honestly do not remember the last time I ever ran out of time on my E whenever I randomly decide to be evil and play Yone.
comeback mechanics/handicaps go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr people talk about old league being good because if you built an advantage it meant something xD
@@DimePwnz No offense but even the comeback mechanics don't leave you at a gold advantage at the end of the game. It just makes the game more even (I fucking hate the comeback mechanic, let me steamroll my 8/0 game and let me kamikaze my enemies)
imo the best and most fun way to teach them is aram. It's balanced differently but the abilities function the same. You get to try out tons of champs and builds without the stress of "am I trolling my team?" that a lot of new players experience.
I love the fact that while Rav is complaining about league, he uses the same clip of getting one shoted as jinx by blue kayn, its like one of his points that has to be in video
He could've enjoyed this if he went enchanter support instead of toplane. Enchanter support is the friendliest entry to the game cause all you have to do is heal / shield / ward and observe. Gives you time to see a lot more than the toplane island. Honestly going janna or nami is probably the best way to start playing this game. The one quote that comes to mind is ''if you want to learn how to lead, you must first learn how to follow''
also, if he really wants to top lane, Nasus is a good champ to start with, giving greater value to last hitting properly, great champ to learn how to farm better, sure he is countered easily but I think he still a better champ to learn with than Mundo, for a beginner at least. Mind you I barely know what Mundos abilities are though since I dont play him, but then again, Im not really a top laner either
@@terencebowlen1450 yes, this too is a great suggestion. I main the botlane so my immediate thoughts went to support. But Nasus perma farming and stacking, having sustainability and the practice of last hitting built into the kit would be a great starting point for the learning curve.
@@rakionyellowmind2293 For annie, my only 'issue' would be her range. Given that this game really makes you think at least 3 seconds in the future constantly, range is something that would help him ease in. To your point - in the same midlane category he could've gone Lux or Xerath.
Watch the video. He runs it down but still has insane pressure on the game because hes playing Mundo. Unironically champs like Mundo are the friendliest entry to the game, it teaches you stuff like csing but also if you do manage to int (which you probably will) then it doesnt even matter because late game mundo will still outscale everyone with half the cs and an item disadvantage in low elo.
@@bo0tzz318 Big X to doubt. Unless you ended first split/season Diamond in league when you started you are shit. I'm shit, you're shit, 99% of the game's playerbase is shit. Masters+ is less than 1% of the playerbase. The other 99% are shit and once you get to masters or even GM people above you will say you are shit. Even in Challenger streamers will call their teammates "low chall"
tbh i need to thank streamers like ludwig because i just managed to get one full year without leage, more times than none ive had the urge tro go back to it but seeing soda, ludwig and others getting insane trying to play that crapshow of a game reminds me of why i let it in the first place, so thank you for your sacrifice gentleman
He's playing the game wrong also known as ranked. Ranked is the best way to quit league or hate yourself. Just play troll builds in norms till something broken appears
Gets absolutely shat on like a small kid in a mosh pit > gets a lucky kill probably because the opponent was bored and fucking around and knows it won't matter > acts like the greatest thing to ever happen. Yep, infected with League Syndrome already.
"Master baiter" is soooooo soooooo good. English isnt my first language and i couldnt stop laughing.... Ahhhhhh this delusional streamer was funny to watch
I started playing league in 2017, this video is bringing me back 😂😂 it literally took me 7 years to learn the game enough where I won’t tilt after every mis play now it’s climbing time boys 😁😁
I am making a prediction right here and now! Rav is actually Ludwig!!! He is acting like he is new to League. And soon there will be an event, a tournament and Ludwig will go there and reveal that he was Rav all along. Nice try Lud, but you cannot fool me.
OMG, this is a video that genuinely pissed me off lol. No fault to you of course but this was like a look into my own games. My teammates almost always play 1-1 like this. Sadly, I see it most from lvl 300+’s. Video genuinely had me screaming at my screen XD.
he mainly plays Jungle, probably was filled. Anyways I think the struggle a lot of new/low elo players have is eventually they realize and understand "what" they need to improve at but they just don't feel like putting in the effort to achieve that understanding to then improve and climb because they feel it would suck all of the fun out of the game for them. Which honestly is fair, league becomes substantially less fun when you actually start trying to learn the game past the surface level shit of knowing abilities.
My conspiracy theory is that riot refuses to do anything about smurfing cuz they rely on those accounts to make it seem like theres more people playing
if you are a real iron, you will never escape. ludwig might as well quit because level of awful required to legitimately reach iron and stay there is not something that can be overcome
I had a vivid dream about being autofilled cham select to jungle, and my team flaming me for picking kha'zix. Unfortunately i woke up before i started my first camp, so I'll never know if dream me is also a feeder :^(
There is only one moba game that is truly user friendly. Guys, you all know her very well. This is Hots. If you suddenly decide to start playing moba in 2024, then start with Hots. Trust me you will get a lot of great experiences and keep your nerves in order 👍 👍 👍
I started playing league again when I saw Ludwig was starting a ranked journey. Had only played some wildrift before. Second season of Arcane alsl on the way. I figured anything Ludwig does, I cab probably do twice as well.

@@MHGFTW Kinda thinking the same thing, some simply work their whole life and die, and realise to late that they wasted away their life with something that didnt really give them joy to much. Always about the moneys that buys you a nice car and a nice house. But is that really that important? I guess that's personal ;)
Mister Rav, please never show us variety streamers playing League again, my eyes are bleeding, soul is shattered and heart is probably trying to follow LowTierGod's famous decree due to that top level Mundo gameplay at 3:45 - 3:50 Edit: AND HE ALMOST WON
