@@lartisteautravail please remember that polygraph machines are notoriously inaccurate. Something along the lines of one out of every 3 answers being wrong. Even the guy who created the machine said that it shouldn't be used to determine somebody's innocence (in a legal matter). I just don't want people thinking that every answer the machine gave was correct.

@@paperguy859 Because they've been proven to not work. They only measure if you're stressing, so if you tell the truth and are freaking out at the question, it would still show up as a lie.

This is absolutely the case. Compare to Jerma's stream doing the same thing. Whether polygraphs are accurate or nonsense, reading them definitely takes way longer than John took. Dude was just Big Trolling.

@@EDoyl He could most definitely have done it in a legitimate way, but there is no doubt in my mind that in the videos he does with youtubers/streamers he lies to make it more interesting.

Lie detectors are super inaccurate anyway. You could always read the results as the opposite of what they are and still be right half the time.

the test is 1 billion % fake, hes just making up answers as he sees fit. The way the test works it needs to measure pulse, blood pressure etc. There is NO way in HELL that the machine is getting an accurate reading through that thick shirt lud is wearing.

All it does is look at how nervios you get, if you are lying but ur confident, you pass, but if you get nervous and tell the truth you don't. It's wrong most of the time even when used by an actual professional

I don’t know if every state accepts it that way, but polygraphs have been admitted into a courtroom and used as evidence. They just can’t be forced into a case (both to take the test and use as evidence) unless everyone agrees and acknowledges. So cute try, but don’t listen to what your friends have been telling you 😂 A simple google search would have save me you some embarrassment 👌

@@troylebaron6683 no, it's estimated that they're only accurate 60% of the time. It's the same reason why they're not used in court. They test small responses like heartbeat, blood pressure etc, but anything can cause these changed. If you're very nervous it may affect the result.
