A gloriously beautiful performance of this wonderful piece, one of my favorites in the repertoire. I love the b&w, low-key style and contrary to others, I like the quick cuts as I find it fits the piece. I love how you keep producing innovative performances and visual styles for these pieces. You have the strenght, the precision, the "madness" that marked all the greatest Beethoven's masterpieces. It is as if someone deaspears from tihs world and suddenlywas immerse in music, only music that touch very hard in all the cells of your mind and heart. Thank you, again and congratulations. I hope to hear you for a long, long time... Sometimes hearing you, it seems that I was hearing my friend and great pianist Sequeira Costa that belonged to the Judges of Tchaikowsky Prize in Moscow. I've never heard a performance of the Apassionata with such focus on contrast. This is my favourite sonata and your interpretation is brilliant! That makes me think that I'd really like to see your performance of something from Mozart...

I discovered Anastasia Huppmann only today, but already feel confident in saying that she's one of the greatest pianists, right up there with Friedrich Wuehrer, Hans Richter-Haaser, and Walter Gieseking. She is the first very great female classical musician that I've encountered. And with her stunning looks, she is a unique phenomenon in classical music: no one that I'm aware of has had her combination of extreme gifts. I would also love to hear her conduct, especially because that would open up to her a much bigger repertory, including Bruckner, Richard Strauss, Gluck, etc. Also, she might be able to do the best-ever performance of Dvorak's magnificent Piano Concerto, and maybe she could do that from the piano. I hope that unlimited opportunities will come her way, because her talents deserve that. Furthermore, because of her extreme combination of talents, she might help to restore the international audience for classical music, and maybe even bring it to commercial superstar status.

An amazingly beautiful performance although I would have preferred fewer changes of camera angle, even though I appreciate the cuts being synchronized with the music. When the cuts are too short the eye must focus, which takes attention from the music. I say, let the eye rest so that the brain can concentrate completely on the music and performance.
