Big shout out to the ones who first made the ‘We are’ Music. Even after 20 years it’s not only still fresh, but it works soo well with todays episodes.
Luffy went from punching his local sea monster, holding his arm to control the recoil, to making Kaido catch a glimpse of heaven. One Piece came a long way.
@@Ampaomike I haven't reached wano arc (I have some spoilers n don't mind spoilers) I wanna ask can kaidi swim I mean he has a fish-fish fruit n fish always swim
Somewhere bartolomeo is sobbing tears of fury and jealousy, knowing he missed luffy senpai doing something awesome. His crew is getting nervous because he has been doing this on and off for HOURS now. :p
Of course, Laws been his boy since Punk Hazzard truth be told. He may try to deny it to keep up his image but he respects Luffy despite being a headache.
i love how they included zoro saying he launched that attack with all his might, then they show that kaido didn't fall over from it. Then Luffy avenges zoro by knocking kaido on his back. such a hype thing
Whenever I watch clips of One Piece episodes, I always get transported back to my childhood. Hearing the original OP music gives me goosebumps and I feel the excitement all over again.
Bro, people say OP is too long but they don't understand how much of a blessing that is, when an anime like this is as long as it is you get so attached to the characters and the other things like the OP's, themes, ect. And when you watch luffy in action like this and hear the beloved sound if the first OP, it gives you chills whilst also bringing a tear to your eye and finally topping it all off with a grin. One Piece just has that effect on me personally, and that's why I love it so much.
@@akumablood1509 kaido fight is still going on ? my god it's slow. It's should be a one v one by now and big mom vs law and kid. But is it still a group battle ?
@@amuroray9115 he’s punched him way more than 8 times, but this is the first time luffy infused conqueror’s haki into his punch so it’s the first time it seriously hurt kaido.
"Conquerors haki is only for fodder" no no no! This explains why everyone was so frightened when Luffy used conquerors haki subconsciously back at Marineford! They knew what it/he could become. Advanced conquerors haki is truly the peak
Oh shut up, you guys keep saying this everytime there's an epic moment in one piece. Literally seen like 20 comments of this same topic by now.We get it already! But guess what, you don't know what's after death. As far as we know the one piece fans that passed away are probably still watching wherever they are. Or they might be finishing one piece since time might work differently in the after life. No one knows.
The weight of the meanings this song carries with itself is _immense_ . The greatest adventure of all time couldn't have a better theme than this, and it shows that the authors knew this was gonna be a long, glorious journey. When "We are" plays, it really reminds us how we arrived where we are now, and how many adventures we lived in this imaginary (yet so real) world. No song could replace this one, and no other music would be capable of gathering all the feelings we feel for One Piece the way this one does!
It's such a simple statement, isn't it? "We are". But it doesn't really need to be more complicated, it encapsulates Luffy and the straw hats in full. "We are here, we are on a grand adventure, we are going to reach the end of the world, and you can't stop us."
the greatest adventure of all time is a bit of a stretch, I mean the pacings really bad (1000+ episodes bruh), characters that basically never die and will never die because of plot armor, boring villians, etc. There are way better paced (and stories with actual stakes) animes like JoJo's, One Punch Man, and HxH.
@@justynhill4814 one piece moves slower than HxH ever did i mean look at it its 1k episodes and only 100 of them are actually revelant to the story oda milking at its finest plus the only REVELANT characters that die are ace and whitebeard, none of the main straw hats have ever died and never will because there are no stakes
YES! We Are is great and will always have a special place, but We Go is where I cheered the most because THAT is what I hear in my head whenever I think One Piece. Ich! Ni! San-Shine! Yo, We GOOOOOOO! WE GO!
Yeah lol, Stampede "We go" feels like the kind of ost you hear in a boss battle, so who better to use it for than Kaido himself? It just feels so epic lol
This moment law knew luffy was on a whole other level than the rest of them. And they're all about to turn it up even more. This is truly the best time to be a One Piece fan!
The way Law is just laying down watching the fight as he says "he isn't even touching him" reminds me of Oden saying the same thing when Whiteboard and Roger clashed
That proves that Law/Kid are not on the same level as luffy which means it’s wrong that luffy has the same bounty as those 2 now. Maybe the government did it on purpose who knows
@@adeezzee8892 That doesn't mean they are as strong. Kaidou + Big Moms Bounty is 8.999.000 Luffy + Law + Kid are slightly stronger together and in total 9.000.000.
I knew it. When whitebeard and roger clashed they didn't touch each other, therefore they were coating their attacks with conquerors. When whitebeard first fought Oden they touched each other so he immediately knew that Oden was weaker than him since he can only use armament instead of conqueror's although I'm pretty sure that Oden learned how during his time with Roger and Whitebeard.
Oden scared Kaido with Conquerors coating, that's why kaido also mention's zoro having conquerors, cuz he got another permanent scar. In Oden's case you can see the black lighting in the episode if you check.
Oden can definitely use Conqueror's - that's why he was the only person to leave a scar on Kaido's body back when Kaido took over Wano, and the only one capable of beating Kaido.
@@spyfire242 Oh he is and there is simply no question about it. He already is leagues above just with Conqueror coating, but this is still nothing compared to the next power-up he gets. Get real.
@@spyfire242 Well I see what you’re saying but I think the margin is definitely actually a lot further than you think especially when you factor in adv conq haki and gear 5
It’s amazing how strong Luffy has become. Especially when you think about the fact that he’s still only 19 years old, yet he is out here able to fight Kaido, the strongest creature alive, like this. Luffy in his prime is gonna be ridiculous.
Rayleigh & Hyogoro played a huge part on Luffy’s training, looking at him this episode,he’s able to not only coat himself with King’s Haki to get stronger but he always left a strong impression on his enemies leaving them surprised.
Not as iconic as Robin making the snek face, plus her upcoming fight will probably be more iconic than this, only to get beaten by appearance of Gear 5
@@williamdbodhbody606 Basically the same thing lol why even bother commenting something like that? It’s just intentionally inflammatory. Trolls gotta troll i guess.
even though luffy is still trying to master it just because he can do it doesn't mean he is a top expert at it but he surely is skilled! and gifted as well
@@SavveGaming a full circle and a parallel are entirely different concepts just picture both in your mind. Why call his comment inflamatory? He just corrected you, didnt insult you or demean you. Why call him a troll? You should work in your confidence, being that insecure isnt good for a person.
@@ImPolonn A full circle moment is one in which a moment from earlier in the story comes back around. A parallel is again a moment from earlier in the story reflected in the current story. It’s the same thing in this context.
25 Years and counting! WOW! Luffy goes a really long way. It can't be helped but to be emotional to see him in this state of power. Plus that original music. Deyyuuumm!
Seeing all of Luffy's hard work this arc pay off and watching him punch Kaido after 20 years of buildup is SO satisfying. Moments like these are why One Piece will always be my number 1!!
You know I think the reason they are putting so much effort into animation nowadays might be so that lots of new people get hooked and start watching One Piece from the beginning so everybody can see what an amazing show this has always been.
The power of Roof Piece is amazing! No matter the ost in the background I always get chills from “we are” and “grand line” most of all and that’s what makes this anime special
Been following the anime for the last three years, and whenever I hear "We Are", I get emotional and think, Damn, Luffy had come a long way since he first popped out of a barrel.
I love how calm luffy in this fight. He is not angry as always and keeps screaming I think it helps in controlling haki and he knows that Edit* OK first time getting this many likes Thank you💐 What I meant by loving it is that en every last major fight luffy would just be screaming angrily "I WILL KICK YOUR A#$@" to be honest I didn't like It that much 😅 Here he is angry of course but not expressing it like before. Lastly I hope this fight ends before new year 😂😂 How long have we been in wano ark
It was stated that advanced observation haki required a calm mind or something like that so it’s possible it could work the same way for armament haki, plus when a loud fighter like luffy is quiet in a fight you know the other guy is screwed
@@lazyram6462 yeah I remember the fight with katakuri. When katakuri lost control of his emotions or something like that he couldn't fully use observations haki
How good is the show getting, as a whole its continued to improve and the more you watch the better it gets, since the world building and writing is so genuinely good. Also the animation quality has become insane.
15 years later and I still feel like a overexcited kid watching one piece and I love it the excitement the feeling it gives me after so long and it doesn’t fade away now I got my kids watching it
"Goda" hehe. But its true oda's writing is showed at its fullest here showing flashbacks made it so that one punch more meaningful and left a bigger impact on us
Waited for more than a year to see Conquerors' Haki coating get animated, and it has not disappointed. Only a handful of top-tier characters can achieve this level of haki. This was how Roger's era fought! This truly separates the Greats from the Legends! Our boy from a barrel has grown so much and has now made it to the big leagues
Maybe it's just me, but I'd prefer it if it was just dead silence for a while. Like yes, have some big epic piece playing when the final clash is happening, but then it's just quiet as everyone who can see bears witness as one of the strongest beings in existence is overpowered and sent flying, unconscious, to the ground. I know it won't happen cause that's not this show's style, but a man can dream.
@@itsjk872 it was a big moment for me, who has been following ONE PIECE for years. The feeling that you get when you are about to reach the pinnacle of something.
@@Nick-fw1ih well no thats not what i mean it really did look amazing its just i feel like they overhyped it a little because after a few episodes youll realize this couldve been done later and it would make this moment feel a little less special
What a journey it has been. Seeing luffy develop and grow literally makes me feel like I know him personally and i almost have a sense of connection with him, even though he's just an imaginary anime character, always wanted one piece to end soon but now I realise if does then will no more be those excitement and the joy of waiting eagerly every week for that new episode to drop in wondering what's gonna happen next, all those theories and videos about one piece will be missed dearly.
Luffy has reached a new pinnacle with this one..I loved how terrifying kaido looked as he was charging towards Luffy but Luffy responded in a super epic way The fact that his fist didn't physically hit kaido was legit insane
Hearing the original OP play when this happened actually made me cry a bit…it was really sick and a great call back. Honestly whenever I hear that song these days it’s so unbelievably nostalgic since I started watching when I was real little in Japan and grew up loving the series. Will always hold a special place in my heart for sure, and I can’t wait to see where the series goes as it finally finishes up in the coming years
I can’t stop watching this moment. It’s just amazing. This and 1015 are just reminders of how far One Piece has gone and how grand the journey has been. So exciting 😁
I haven't watched past episode 12 or so and this still gave me goosebumps. I can only imagine the level of hype for people who have watched OP all the way through. Enjoy it extra for me guys.
U know, I've been following One Piece for a long time... since the early 2000's to be more precise, when the internet sucked, and the animation wasn't that interesting. But since the early days this anime had an effect on me for always being able to perfecly balance action, adventure, comedy, sad moments, as well as delivering important messages such as determination, resilience, confidence, friendship, and family values. I know there's other animes that do that as well, but One Piece just has something special that stands out. No wonder Luffy is such a beloved character, bringing people together on and off screen. . And seein' moments like this after all these years, it def. brings tears to your eyes. Everyone that loves animes should watch this. It's hands down the best anime off all time! and it has been since the ending of Buu's saga of DBZ, which was around 2001 if I recall. The torch has been passed down to One Piece, which took it to another level. I'm 32 years old, and the day I watch Luffy finally reachin Laugh Tale and conquering One Piece, I know part of my life will have been fulfilled. What a privilege it is to be alive and follow such an amazing anime like this. Thank you, Oda! for bringing this alive and entertaining us for all these years. And may God bless and protect you till you fulfill your life's work.
Luffy: *punches Kaido* Music: *COME ABOARD AND BRING ALOONG ALL YOUR HOPES AND DREAAMS TOGETHER WE WILL FIND EVERYTHING THAT WE'RE LOOKING FOOOR. ONE PIECE! THERE'S ALWAYS ROOM FOR YOU, IF YOU WANNA BE MY FRIEND. WE ARE. WE ARE. ON THE CRUUUUUIIISE. WE ARE!*
They played the first Post-Timeskip opening _and_ the original series opening. Kaido asked Luffy if he could hear what kind of King he wanted to be. Luffy said "Shoryuken!"
We have to mention that old man Hyo's voice actor is the same as Ohnoki from Naruto (Tsuchikage), makes so much sense as both characters are seniors, sometimes acting as masters to younger fellows
The fear and anticipation in Kaido eyes shows everything! Man Luffy is such top tier written character. So glad it’s come to this point can’t wait for more episodes and the best is yet to come! Super thrilled 😁
@@maazuponvelocity no it doesn’t but more often than not they coincide. One piece is about fun. It has its deeper moments but between 1000 +episodes there are only a small few where luffy isn’t one dimensional. And most of those are from years ago
