should every song that you make be at the same LUFS level, whether -10 or -14 or does it matter? What is the one single level that if you had to pick you would deliver your master at?
No, I have a range of loudness for masters that depends on the song and genre. A jazz record might sit around -13 and a pop record around -9. If i had to give you one number for everything I’d say maybe -12 or -11

yea it still feels like a loudness war because people want very loud masters even with normalization. That's interesting that YT Music doesn't use it though
@@lovesciencemusicits not just ytm. Apple music doesn't have normalization on Android, Roku and the Windows app neither. iTunes on Windows though does have it.
