Rudy, this is great!!! ITs fascinating to listen to all the sounds in the airport and in the Airbus A340-600. Also all the great views you experienced seeing in the airport and all the way through your departure from Munich. Thank you, Rudy for allowing us to experience a little bit of what you enjoyed in your travel to Vienna. Interesting to listen to the flight attendant say that nobody is allowed to stay in the stairs. Awesome views all around, great editing and video!!! Thank you, Rudy!!!!

Really enjoyed watching this! Those quad Rolls Royce Trent 500 engines were not that loud during take off as I would have thought? Great quality video work as well. Well done Rudy and thanks for sharing this experience with us.

I flew on LH452 in November of 2022 but it with The Airbus A350-900. I wish I could have flown on the A340-600 but the A350 was amazing. I had seat 1A and it was incredible. I also remember that gate and going down the escalator to board the plane.

🇬🇧🙋🏾‍♀️ooh one of my favourite liveries Etihad 🥹 Interesting seating configuration 2-3-2 in economy. So used to seeing the 74 seating arrangement! Excited to fly again because so much has changed with long haul since 2007 when I last travelled abroad 🥰 Roll on August 2023 😍☺️

Wow, that turn on departure was really interesting…super tight and almost immediate. Does anyone know what departure this is out of Munich?

I can't tell you which departure route it was. But that was runway 08L and they turned north. It is quite common in Munich that you make a turn shortly after take-off. The only thing is that the A340 climbs really slowly so that is maybe why it looks immediate.

⁠@@bickleyjonas6145As a matter of fact, Munich Airport and in particular Terminal 2 is the easiest and most comfortable airport to either start your journey, or transfer through! It is also my home airport, so I might be a bit biased. However, compared to Frankfurt or the mess of AMS/LHR/CDG or Frankfurt it is a breeze to get from check in to your gate, and after landing off the aircraft your within 15-20!minutes in your car or in the S-Bahn into town. And then there is the central area between T2 and T1 with shops and a huge Edeka supermarket.

Watching and admiring planes at an airport is one of my hobbies. Also frequently taking photos during Taxiing and Take Off, these are my very nice ones in my Hobby Life. That's why I fly from West to East and from North to South. You just have to be prepared for this sometimes Sustainable Hobby. @@redblade8160 Just because you have the attention span of a dying goldfish, and throw a tantrum if your intense need to listen to the A340-600 aircraft engine noises in a video, without moving your fat fingers to skip ahead, like a little autistic child without access to therapy, that doesn't mean throwing insults at someone should be your first response. You don't present yourself very well. You're a grown, (very likely old white man but oh well), act like it.
