When I was young the CH-53s were common sights in East Anglia where I grew up with many examples being based with the USAF but these days they somewhat of a rarity in the UK but luckily the Germans posses a large fleet of them still before retiring in favour of the CH-47s. This example seen leaving last years RIAT.
