Hi Amanda - Thank you for you detailed review! Just one more thing to add that the side cargo pockets are magnetized so if they are not in use they don't stick out! It's a small detail but it was important to me. I too like a trolley sleeve instead of a strap. I am going to buy Cabby most likely this week so I was looking for reviews. I think I will go for it! Thank you for helping me decide!
Hey, Amanda! Great comparison video. Very similar, indeed. I think I’d go with the Cabby only because it has more room. I do like a privacy pocket, though. Both are really great bags. Thank you, and have a blessed day!❤
Thanks Amanda, very good, thorough review of two bags I hadn't considered. Currently I use my Apollo for my extra tote carryon, doubles as a pool bag (nautical navy.) I like the sleeker look of the Soprano better, and that it closes fully zipped, no holes. But after listening to you, I do prefer some of the functionality better on the Cabby SE, full sleeve, and wipeable bottom. Side note...I also wish so much Lug would start putting the light blue/beachy linings in the sand taupe bags. I just don't care for any of the wildlife prints. And while linings don't usually deter me from any bag...that one lining does. All in all, Cabby would fit more of those extras, Trolley, shoes, extra clothing like you mention. A bit bulky for my liking is the tradeoff, but more practically sized for extras in a carryon. Tku!
I nevetr thought of using the Apollo for a carry on. I have mostly used mine for a beach bag/pool bag. Great idea. I'm not a fan of the wildlife prints wither and I do love my sand bebop that has the shells lining in it. As always I love hearing your views on the bags. Have a great day.
Great review Amanda! I have both of these bags in different colors 😮 but love them both! I use the cabby when I have the granddaughters and want to use a tote with a little more room
I have the soprano, I love it only thing it is missing is a crossbody strap. If I'm carrying a large tote like this most time I want to crossbody it. I like the grab handles but really don't care for the shoulder straps as I have a problem with my shoulder that I would carry it on.
Great video as usual Amanda. I have the Soprano & happy it doesn't have the charm bar. It is large enough for my needs (mostly use the PJ Duffle or PJ Backpack for travel- though think I may prefer the Duffle). I must have a crossbody on totes though- so plan to add some grommets so I can add one to the Soprano. It's in the Brushed Marina- (& yes w/the stripes inside- which I *also dislike*) I have a brushed concord 1.5 strap that I'll use w/it for the crossbody as that color is included in the interior which makes it *slightly more tolerable - wish they would stop using most of the stripes 🤔
Oh my gosh I agree-stop using the stripes. I wonder if more people dislike them than like them. It seems like so much is coming with stripe lining lately. Also agree about the PJ Duffle. It has always been a go to for travel for me too. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy your week ahead.
