According to the Toad assistant, ghosts - Boos especially- have been very active in the mine. Perhaps the security-camera phote will tell us what they're up to.
There's one gem on the slide I didn't get, I'll come back another time for that but I thought I might be able to turn that wheel off in the next room, but alas.
