same i lost every time because i was trying to be quick and had mental breakdowns everytime the ghosts escaped it took me an actual year of not playing to finish the game
If too many rooms are red, or the paranormal activity meter in the mansion gets too high, you'll have 3 minutes to stabilize them, or the dimension will collapse on itself! Act fast, and use those portals to get around quicker!
Definitely the most anxiety inducing song in Luigi’s mansion 2, I genuinely panicked and died to the gobber in the jungle exhibit and had to farm a crap ton of money for the super poltergust to lower my chances of death
This mission was incredibly stressful and suspenseful. It was the only time I got a game over (other than ice boss) but I had the polterpup bone so I was revived.
The Ice Boss and THIS LEVEL wanted me dead so GOD DAMN MUCH (I remember nothing of the ice boss haven't played in forever, all I remember is that a bitch wanted me dead)
This was one of my favorite songs in Luigi’s mansion dark moon. And I was so angry that I finally got to the 5th mansion but we had to return the game to the library..
i love and hate this level at the same time i love it because its the level where there are the most ghosts for some action i hate it because its anxiety inducing
i didn't know at first either but a 3 minute timer starts if too much red rooms are active my deada*s thought that it was like if 1 single red room exists you have like 1 minute to clear it before it kills you
Omg I have this Video on loop, I'm doing my homework kind of last minute and I don't want to fall asleep. The anxiety this can give you can keep you awake lol.
I remember doing the mission and it was so hard for me back then (didnt understand English) and stressful I even had to use the golden bone and it took me like 4 tries but I was able to make it like at the last second nowdays its just a fun memory and I absolutely love that mission its literally the best part of the game
i remember getting stuck on this mission years ago, but after coming back to it i've got it down to a rhythm. it's lots of fun trying to clear it as fast as possible
My god. Paranormal Chaos. My fingers were fucking tired after this level, but I absolutely love this mission to death, absolutely the best mission in the game!
Start of the Track: I got this. King boo ain’t nothing. Middle: Ok, um. Maybe I spoke too soon. But I still got it. I think. Near the End: RUN. RUN. FREAKING RUN THE WORLD COULD END. RUN. YOU FEEL IN LUIGI’S SHOES BY THE END. Despite how repetitive this song is, just making it play faster… and faster… and FASTER as king boo racks up the pressure… sometimes simplicity is best, and this track is proof of that.
final boss was so easy tbh. although i’m not complaining cus i would not have been very happy if they threw in a hard final boss after *this* absolute beast of a level
I once played this at a Test (almost my entire class plays luigis mansion 2). When i hit play everyone froze in panic. Thats how traumatising this level is.
I have this game, I love this song but the level always made me sweat. The anxiety of not getting there in time freaked me out so bad, especially when the rooms would turn red.
(Edit- Nvm I see people playing and getting the timer. They definitely made it slightly more forgiving though.) I don’t know if I’m just too good at the game but Paranormal Chaos is so much easier in the remake. I could walk the entire mission and the timer wouldn’t show up… the timer still exists but you have to basically be twiddling your thumbs for it to appear. I’m actually really sad about that. The anxiety of it is what made paranormal chaos well.. paranormal chaos :(
I’ll always remember this music, and the level it belongs to. It was the first level I actually died on during my first playthrough (the intensity of the music made me rush and make some fatal mistakes lol). I also remember on my second playthrough, when I happened to make that gramophone play in I think the first mansion, and was met with the first part of this melody.
