Luigi's Mansion endings are the sweetest, most wholesome rewards in gaming. Just having Luigi crying of joy by the safety of his brother while laughing his ass off is enough to make the hardships worth it. Or just having Mario be proud of his little brother in the sequel, exclaiming "that's my bro!" Just beautiful.
