Oh I remember the times that I love to play this game The good old ghosts The good old locations The good old puzzles AND THAT CRAZY DIFFICULT HARD ANNOYING ICE MONSTER
I couldn’t beat the game without literal assist as a young kid. Also, I came back here to look for comments that mention anything about this game and how we thought we wouldn’t get another sequel.
King Boo escaped the painting, imprisoned Mario, broke the Dark Moon, bent ghosts under his control, tried to obliterate Luigi with lightning and his entire spherical body And he still covers his face when exposed to light.
I absolutely love the music design in Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon I'll always have nostalgia for the original, but the orchestral sounding spooky music that's also pretty good at sparking your adrenaline in a fight is great The music in the spider boss is great and the soundtrack only gets better the farther in you go
This brings back the memories. I remember getting this game a few years back. Played it for ages. I remember getting so hyper when I was on a boss or against those 3 graveyard girls 😒 probably one of the best games I ever played. A core from my childhood.
This video actually got me picking up Dark Moon again. I had had it for probably four years and never once beat the game. After seeing the Clocktower Boss I realized that I never beat the game because I hadn’t seen it before. So I decided to pick it up again and it was pretty difficult to get used to the controls after playing Luigi’s Mansion 3 and having the Ghost Slam and Burst features, but I still ended up beating it. I honestly forgot how fun it was, at least when I didn’t get frustrated.
GUYS GUYS, the music in this game is incredible, every note displays a very nice tone of each fight. From the orchestral to the quick yet spooky tone at other portions. My favorite is when Luigi sees Mario’s portrait, it plays a much darker theme of the classic Mario music and then quickly transitions to King Boos even darker composition. 33:37
Man, do I love the Boolossus fight in this game! It’s so funny seeing him get popped by the front of the train, and then trapping the little boos in the carriages is so creative too!
Fun Fact: if you put all the possessors names into an acronym, it spells G.H.O.S.T. Neat Easter egg! G for Grouchy possessor H for Harsh possessor O for Overset possessor S for Shrewd possessor T for Tough possessor
Chart of comments for this video 90% How much they hate the ice boss (I can relate) 5% How the First letter of the mansions names all come together to say ghost (same with possesers) 5% Other stuff
Me: *beats every boss with ease* Ice Boss: Nice streak you got there... it'd be a shame if sonething happened to it. Me: *gets stuck on ice boss for literally a year*
This game completely made up my childhood in 5th grade, looking back on it from the end of 11th grade now. This game was just perfect, the locations were so gripping and detailed, like resident evil for kids. The gameplay was simple and fun. The sound design was charming. Even the art style was pretty for a 3ds game. Navigating the mansions was just so much fun i love this game.
Flygon the Dragon yeah me too :D I think I finished it 3 or 4 times. But one of the reasons why I really love this game is how Luigi acts :D he is so funny, plus the boss battles are good, and the music I really enjoy the music in this game :)
Ana Gabriela Figueroa that should be like an organization or something in the next games where they're the ones releasing all the ghosts or something like that. I think that'd be cool. With King boo somehow involved of course.
For some reason, in this game, before the dark moon was rebuilt, he was the complete manifestation of the devil, stealing your keys just for fun, after the dark moon was rebuilt, he was redeemed and now he's indeed, a good boy, but in Luigi's mansion 3, he lost his eyes and he has his voidy white eyes again, the same one he had before the dark moon was rebuilt but he's still a good boy, but does stuff like surprising Luigi, scaring him, but at least he does help, if he lost his normal eyes, then that means the dark moon affects the ghosts world wide but it's more effective if they're close to the dark moon
Easiest boss: The Staircase boss Hardest Boss: THAT DAMN ICE BOSS NOPE NOT EVEN THE FINAL BOSS THE ICE BOSS ITS SOOOO DIFFICULT Edit: Ice boss was also kind of the scariest for me..None of them were all that scary at all but The ice boss was somewhat creepy
The Ice Monster is not hard, it's just annoying. When I was 9, I beat it on my 4th try. However, the stupid ass Staircase boss broke my fucking 3DS when I was trying to 3-star-it and I had to buy a new one. My parents were PISSED, and I told them it was their fault because they had bought me the game. To this day, I still haven't touched Luigi's Mansion 2 and don't intend to ever again. The original was way better. Can't wait for a third shitty sequel to a worthless series.
Luigi's mansion is a game that I want play so badly but I don't have a ds so I can only look at the videos. But it's still an awesome game and I'll never stop to love it!
I didn’t notice it before, but there’s a button for the boo chamber on the remote E. Gadd used to release the now friendly ghosts. Is it just me, or does this have the potential to go wrong? Welp, I bet I know how it’ll happen if they ever make a third game
Fun fact: most of these bosses were added for really good and amazing reasons. The spider boss was added to build more fear if the person playing the game had arachniphobia (me) The stair boss were added for players who're bipolar (imagining creepy things out of objects) The clock boss was added for people with megalophobia (fear of big objects) And the ice boss was added for people who have basophobia (fear of going deep underground)
I used to have this recurring nightmare like once a week for months, and it was really short but basically, I was trapped in luigi's mansion except it was a very realistic version and very dark. Nothing in the house was trying to hurt me but I was terrified and was desperately trying to escape but every door led to more doors and they would lock behind me too. The only way to progress I learned, was to keep moving towards the roof, which I knew was probably not good but it was my only way out I thought. To make matters worse, every time I passed by a window, a shadowy figure would appear out of the corner of my eye from outside of the window, but whenever I looked, it disappeared. Eventually, I made my way to what I felt like was the last room before the roof, and at the end of the dark room was a disgusting spider-version of the big baby boss from the first Luigi's mansion. I woke up in real life every time I lied eyes on that thing in my dream and never got any further. I hope I don't have that dream again now, that was like 10+ years ago.. :O
Oh man I remember being stuck with the Secret Mine boss and having to figure a way to make the giant knight to fall used up my brain big time. Oh the staircase one, having to climb the stairs before the fight was annoying.
I remember in the past when I got this game for my birthday, when in was 6,I was scared of the giant spider so I was hiding in the game somewhere and I was scared too by the ice monster XD ( THAT STUPID BOSS TAKE ME 2 DAYS ;-;) i never understand the haunted clocktower XD ...now I’m saying that I was stupid before XDDDD ( wait... did i just said my childhood?... .-.)
My boss rank 1. Tough possessor (The Knights), easy but epic, love the fighting style, love the music. 3 stars attempt: 1 2. King Boo, the final fight gave me quite a bit challenge, dangerous battle, not too easy, but not too hard, overall a great fight. 3 stars attempt: 3 3. Overset possessor, not a big challenge, except 8 o’ clock and 12 o’clock, great showtime, a lot of gold. 3 stars attempt : 1 4. Grouchy possessor (the spider queen) A good puzzle battle, quite frustrating at first, but the way it fights, epic! 3 stars attempt: 2 5. Shrewd possessor (the ice monster) I have no problem with him, not even the portals..... I like boss’s appearance, love the music, but for sure not as great as other bosses. 3 stars attempt: 1 6. Big Boo, THE HARDEST BOSS for me, hard to launch the boos in the train, hard to aim, but i like the fact that it has a challenge just like most bosses. 3 stars attempt: ??? 7. Harsh possessor (the stairs) too easy, pathetic, it should be the 1st boss. 3 stars attempt : 1
Mine: 1. King Boo - I love his stage and everything about his character. 2. Big Boo - What can I say? King Boo and his Minions are amazingly built upon! 3. Harsh Possessor - A bit disappointing, but it makes up for the torturing Staircase Puzzle beforehand. 4. Tough Possessor - Really hard for me, mostly because I barely understand the fight. Otherwise, good character. 5. Shrewd Possessor - The launcher don't launch right. 6. Grouchy Possessor - This. Thing. Is. Torture.
And me and my cousin came up with nicknames for the ghosts. Narwhal/Unicorn, Ram, Rhino, Reindeer, and Moose That Doesn't Like Slipping On Carpet. Yes, these are all based of of their horns.
I know I’m late but: 7. Boolossus. It is a bit disappointing for me because the attacks are very easy to dodge and hitting the boo into the drill for me is like HELL 6. Ice Monster. 4 words: My nightmare in childhood 5. Haunted stairs. Easy but fun. 4. Giant spider. The puzzles were fun and I’m surprised that the first boss got so high 3. King Boo. Definitely a good final boss and I like the Indiana Jones style phases in between 2. Haunted clock tower. The reason it made it this high on my list is because it provides a good test to see if you know how to deal with all of the enemies. 1. Knights. Great boss and does a great job of showing you how to beat the boss and than putting it to another level.
Marisela Tovar bruh I have finished my game long ago AND now I know when how to defeat the ice boss with no effort now. With a little of training ,getting the timing and aiming with the right angel at the perfect highs it was to easy now! By the way it was hard because it was my first time fighting him i didn’t say anything about I never defeated him and .. The fact you say that IM bad the game is just retarded XD
I did it the first try an I knew how to bet because my cousin showed I thought I was going to loose so I got one star but the first file she did it for me also I I'm doing file 3 again so I'm also doing the ice boss which I will win!😏😏😎
is any one excited for Luigi's Mansion 3 coming out? I am. (btw the boss i still don't get is the Belfry Clock (aka the Haunted Clocktower). Is it bad when it reaches a certain time limit or is there any time limit at all? because when he was attempting to remove the bandages off the mummies, the music just kinda reversed. Is it just a weird detail or something else?)
Comment percentage: 99.7%: I HATE CHILLY RIDE/ICE MONSTER 00.1%/me: lol why the hate on ice monster he was ez 00.1%: I thought E. Gadd was gonna release all Boos at the end 00.1%: we shall never understand egadd language
