Thanks for the review Ben! I was actually quite nervous about it 😅😅. couple of things: -F hole: I totally agree with you, that's a decision made by popular taste and checking out during shows and with customers. I just do what most of the people like. it is not laziness I promise 😬😬😬 -The gold on the headstock is gold leaf

If it's not love, then I am in deep smit with this guitar of Luig's. The insets on the controls, that gorgeous shade of purple in the finish; why just looking at it makes you want to pick it up, and hearing it makes you never want to have to put it down. Smashing job Luigi. I can say you exceeded all my expectations with this build. And if I end up winning this guitar, as an added bonus for me at least, it's already in my Alma Maters colors! All I need to do is get a matching Valenti Guitars T-shirt in that shade of purple.

Luigi, this guitar is the “Number1 Stunner” in my book right now. I don’t think there’s been another guitar that I wanted to win quite as desperately . Such a beautiful piece of art. Well Done, bud!

Loved the chance to be one of the few that voted on choices in designing the finished product. I may not have picked every choice we voted on, but it’s a fantastic prize to win, and looking back the right calls have been made. It is exceptional build quality to be sure. I implore others to go out and buy tickets for this even if it reduces my chance to win. Support Ben and his team with the Museum via the Daily Guitar Draw is the point, just remember it’s very addictive!

Beautiful Guitar. I am a big fan of Paoletti Guitars in Italy. Bodies are made out of 100+ year old reclaimed chestnut from wine barrels which gives it a unique look 🍺🇨🇦

the F hole jumped out at me as well, couldn't agree more but what a beautiful guitar besides likewise the sound is equally beautiful . would love to hear the punch drive tho.

Smaller builders... can I recommend RH Guitars UK? Rob is a wonderfully humble man with exceptional talent, a one man outfit working out of derbyshire. Would love to see him get some air time with your good self, 2 masters of their craft in one place :) Will finish watchin vid now... only 5 mins in n most awesome as always :) hope your well sir Thats a nice ol geetar there, fella done very good :)

That is beautiful! I disagree. I love the thick “F” hole. It looks beefy and strong. I’d be less concerned about breaking it. That guitar is amazing!!

@@sirspongadoodle possibly but I was comparing the bridge to neck on the recording. Bridge sounds great, neck wooly. So I'd assume to my ears I'd feel the same on my amp.

@@Furtheronmusic well i can tell you that no matter what pickup you put there aslong as its the same type (in this case p90) it will sound the same…

most people use cheap earbuds or headphones and with all the RU-vid compression I would take a demo with a grain of salt.

@@christopherfidler3019 well none of that stuff matter for pickups as there pretty much unaudible in the tonal differences, atleast in regards to the same category ie single coil or humbucker…

Thanks for Showing this Work of Playing Art. Dear dear Ben the F Hole is Awesome and Right look for this Guitar. First this Guitar is use For hard Music that is what the F Hole is that Way. Ben and other people this is Not a Violin 🎻 when with a Violin the F Hole as to be like to talk about Ben. The Guitar is Awesome sweet design and Ben no Master Guitar builder like you want the Student to Copy your Work! Right Ben?

Maybe there should be an audience subscriber design competition not builder, and winner based on votes of some sort and 2 guitars of that design get made by Crimson 1 for the designer and 1 for the ticket holder. 1 ticket price to submit design/concept 1 ticket to enter a vote? However it's decided. Get some unique guitars.

why do your demoed guitars sound so wimpy ? surely some one can get betters sounds than this !

Pickups DONT change tone, atleast when it comes to the same type, a single coil will sound like another single coil same with p90s or with humbuckers… output may vary aswell as gain but is that really worth the money??

No, you absolutely can have some differences, pickups aren't perfectly built the same each time by every person who makes them. There's bound to be slight differences between units. Edit: there's also going to be differences in how they're made/wound depending on systems they're made for, active electronics can support less copper coil which makes for a flatter tone in still similar pickup styles.

You have over generalized. A low wind A2 P90 will 100% certainly sound different than a High wind with a ceramic. A similar spec p90 to another p90 from a different brand. Not so much. I have wound some of my very own. And yes they sound different.

I've listened to way too many different sets of strat SSS pickups looking for a holy grail set, and while I'd agree they're all in very similar sonic ballparks, and chuck mega metal overdrive on them and the differences are often minor, but they definitely don't all sound the same in every scenario (clean, breakup, crunch, overdrive). Alnico variants are subtly different. Wind counts and output produce differences. Some harsher, some smoother, some more clarity, some eye wateringly bright. There are differences. And that's just singles specifically designed for a strat. Broaden that out into all singles for all models and the differences are larger. So no, they're not inaudible, unless you're not really listening, or you're a mega high gain only player.

Looked forward to seeing this video and getting a closer look at Luigi's work from a luthier's perspective. Any other former Crimsonites you wanna order guitars from?😉 haha. I joke. Pristine quality from Italy, beautiful work from Luigi🤌
