Luis Miguel is mexican though he was born in Puerto Rico and had an Italian mother and a spanish father, he is known as “El Sol de México”, this song was in the top charts for like ten months, and at the age of 19-20 he was the greatest young star in Mexico even in top of other more recognized and matured artists. He could absolutely sing this song live exactly as in his Long Play, but also he since a very young age started improvising in his live performances and always sang his songs in a different way, many times even better than the original recordings. Now it is a must for you to listen to “La incondicional” live in the same concert that you already have reacted and you will find a shorted version and with very diferente paths and choices, I guarantee you won’t regret it as you already love what Luis Miguel does. he is the "michael Jackson" of mexico or latin america. He is a living legend. and as far as the lyrics, the title of it is la incondicional which translates to the unconditional one. He talks about enjoying his time with her and she is great, but he has never felt to commit to her and he doesnt understand why. On paper she is great and he realizes how good she is, but she is more like a side girl. And even through all that she seems to still be there for him.

Thank you for reacting to Luis Miguel 🙌 here’s the backstory of this music video: In the late eighties, Luis Miguel presented the song "La Incondicional" in one of the most popular videos of Latin American music and that demanded great demand. It was filmed at the Heroic Military College of Mexico, a scenario chosen in order to have a very realistic tone. But getting to record at the institution was not easy, as the singer had to submit to the same rules as any soldier. The romantic music star fulfilled every order in a slash. However, the big problem arose when he learned that among the requests of the Ministry of Defense, by Antonio Riviello Bazán, there was a mandatory rule that touched him with a weakness. "One of the main rules was haircuting". He decided that it was okay but in reality they didn’t cut much of his hair to keep him relaxed. Btw he was born in Puerto Rico but raised in Mexico so he identifies himself as Mexican.

The live version La incondicional HD En Concierto is much better. Anyone can sound nice in studio but live is a different story. That's where the Men separate from the Boys.This wasn't a movie, this is the original video.The Mexican armed forces were having trouble enlisting members. Luis Miguel decided that he wanted to film his next video in a Mexican army base. LM was told no at first because he was a civilian and although he was popular he wasn't what he became & is nowadays -the most successful Latin artist in Spanish music history(fact not an opinion)-.The condition was that he would have to go through the training just like everyone else and he would get his video. LM accepted and got his video and the Mexican government got a free promotion on how cool is to be part of the Mexican armed forces. It wasn't the last time the Mexican government looked to Luis Miguel for help, though next time around LM was already who he is, so it wasn't cheap at all for the Mexican government to hire LM services. It was to make LM tourism embassador for Mexico & promote the country wherever he toured. Mexico is one of the most visited places in the world. Luis Miguel didn't have much to do with it, his job was simply to help keep it that way.
