I like Lu Jin's personality. He knows when to apologize, he knows how to calm anger, and grown men never make a big deal out of it. I wish I had a life partner like him would be great.. 😍

He arrives at the perfect moment where she is just empty. His understanding and patience is everything. He never treats her like a baby. Shes stubborn but he knows how to bend her ... and he loves her. Such a lovely show.

Responding to a comment made me rewatch this scene multiple times again and I really have to hand it to the actor and director for showing the nuances of LJ character. His negotiation skills and people acumen really came through in navigating the relationship with all 3 women that he cared, respected, and/or loved. He's an intellectual but he engaged the right amount of emotional intelligence in all three relationships and with the grandfather too. My favorite character was the uncle and he was a great help to him.

The ml is such a great actor you can feel how much he loves her and the poor soul is being pulled in three directions,the acting from the ml and fl is top notch, absolutely love it his drama.

This is one of the best Chinese drama. Well acted. Fan of both leads after this drama.

We all have that emotional bucket that just gets too full and you can't handle 1 more thing and you just want someone to understand and help, especially your bf. It's not LJ's fault he couldn't be there but he already knew how Li Man and his mom are and should have protected his phone better and called to see how his gf was even if he wasn't aware of any issues or at least text. She was lucky to have had emotional and financial help from her family and friends but you still want your bf to be there for you and you resent them when there's that void and feeling of abandonment. Kudos to uncle for setting LJ emotional straight.

It is amazing how much emotion these two conveyed in that hug, that said it all❤❤

I feel so bad for him here as he did nothing wrong. Being away on business is part of his life. Technically his mom and her "friend" is right about the life he leads but they are wrong in thinking he wouldn't be willing to sacrifice for her. He's not the "any means to the end" type of guy if it hurts the people her cares about.

It just cracks me up every time the FL gets slung over the shoulder, or pulled off her feet into the ML arms like some Neanderthal acting out - this considered romantic haha. 🤣

If you are lucky enough to meet the man or woman of your dreams don't ever put them through tests they do NOT deserve it. Never take the paintbrush of someone else who has hurt you and paint the next so you can seek revenge on an innocent person. He maybe a CEO and that maybe his mother and his friend but you cross the line when you decide that person he/she has met is not what you want. A mother knows her children HER CHILDREN she knows what makes him happy she strives for that she does not put obstacles in their way. What a mother is not is a life partner she is not married or to him and those two roles are very different and if you constantly put down the person he/she falls in love with then you risk losing your child. Far to many parents stick noses in where it is not wanted so unless your child is been harmed keep out of it unless they ask.
