Per chi proviene dai vari lineage di GM Yip Man , studiare la forma con il bastone lungo o Luk Dim Poon Kwan significava essere arrivati alla fine del sistema , con i Seung Dao il sistema era finito.
Ma pochi sanno che la forma Luk Dim Poon Kwan insegnata da GM YM proviene dalla Weng Chun della famiglia Tang.
GM YM semplifico e accorcio la forma .
In pratica possiamo dire che la forma di GM YM è il 1° Set dell' originale forma della famiglia Tang composta da 18 Set.
La forma originariamente veniva insegnata al Tempio Fei Loi.
Dopo la distruzione del Tempio , si era persa questa conoscenza .
Grazie ora a Sifu Michael Tang la forma LDPK è ritornata al suo luogo di origine, ovvero al Tempio Fei Loi.
Periodicamente ora i monaci Shaolin del Tempio Fei Loi ,studiano con Sifu Michael Tang, la forma Luk Dim Poon Kwan.
