Pure talent! It is not just his precision and handles, it is his understanding of the game. Court vision, high basketball IQ, and the competitiveness, name it, he has it all!
@@andyirons7162 Yes! He was a basketball prodigy. He has already achieved so much at a young age. Coming from the Balkans myself, we have a certain passion about the game of basketball. I will remind you that the talent there is in abundance. Back in the day there was another child prodigy - Drazen Petrovic! He was also killing it in Europe before coming to the NBA. Sadly, he was benched for his first two years, and right when he was about to show the world what he was made of, died tragically in a car accident at the age of 28.
Now I see where Luka Magic comes from. The best players of this game in history seem to come from another planet. He has to be the greatest H.O.R.S.E player in history.
Had a friend in High School Mark , he was a freek of nature. His single Dad built dragster engines for the NHRA and didnt have much time for him so he played Basketball. Side note there were always engine parts strung throughout the house like blowers on tables and heads on the counters lol. Mark was not into the dragsters he loved Basketball and was not big or tall but was very smart and skillfull. We would ask him when shooting around to hit full court shots , shots from 50 plus ft up in the stands and any crazy shot possible and he would get nothing but net. Truely amazing to see back in the day unbelievable skill. His dad could care less about Basketball and didn't have much support and i always imagine what he could have done in the world of Basketball if he did have a good family.
To me, he is the greatest basketball player in history. Nobody has ever played basketball the way he does. He is not perfect bc, nobody is. But his gifts are beyond anything I have ever seen. Lebron and Jokic also have extremely high bball IQ, but Luka has also mastered the art of controlling tempo like no other. It is starting to catch up. More and more players are starting to understand it.
@@vegaslimoguy2376 You are not even close! I wish you were. Who do you think has ever played better than him? Maybe Lebron comes close, but that is it.
@@VelhaGuardaTricolor My guy, NOBODY WILL EVER BE BETTER THAN MJ. EVEN LARRY BIRD would have had a field day schooling these fools. You are talking to someone that had courtside seats in the 80s and 90s. I got to see a lot of players back then up close and personal and when they actually played defense. WHAT they play now isn't even basketball anymore. It is simply street ball and they don't play hardly any defense at all. You can tell that you are uneducated and young because you mentioned Lebron. And lebron isn't even in the top ten of greatest of all time. Get a grip my friend, and learn something about basketball and educate yourself. These players nowadays can score an average at will. Because there is simply no defense being played at all, They don't even run a particular offense anymore. They just passed the ball around and either. Don't get or take long range bombers. I would have loved to seen these teams. Try to defend against the triangle offense that the Bulls itilized to perfection against teams. You are talking to someone that has watched basketball for over 40 years. How old are you again?
@@jmills5420 It's funny that you mentioned. Larry Bird. I just made that same comment before I even read your comment. These younger generation have no clue about basketball whatsoever. They think that these players are so great because they can score at will. That's because they don't play any defense at all. If you put these players back in the 80s. And 90s with the defense that they used to play back then. Most of these guys wouldn't even be able to score. It is said how educated some of these younger generation are.
@@jmills5420 Jordan was helped by the illegal defense rule. MJ Said so himself. Wilt was better than Jordan, so was Kareem. Jordan is overrated. Only low bball IQ people think he is the Goat
His understanding of angles, trajectory and bounces is just outstanding, and then he also has the touch to execute it. I wonder what his percentage is on half court shots.
Luka is GREAT, built in Real Madrid, for me, is the best player ever seen, and I borned in 1972 so I watched Magic, Jordan, Bird, Kobe in prime and so on, but Luke is extremly skillfull in all ways, amazing
Not even close, NOT even in the top 10. I love the guy, but all you people making these comments must be young. Once again, i respect the guy and he is fantastic, but not even close to the GOAT.
This is the kind of shit my brothers and I did all the time - trying to come up with crazy shots from anywhere and everywhere. Luka loves to just have fun.
This compilation of trick shots shows why Luka will be among the top 2 GOAT in the future. There's a very good chance he will end up as #1 with his abilities and this video show he has unremarkable shooting muscle memory with 90% the ball finding the middle of the ring. I bet even MJ can not replicate this despite all his greatness. If Luka and Jokic finishes their career the way they are supposed to, MJ will slide to #3, Jokic to #2 and Luka to #1.
I was thinking some trick basketball baskets was not done before now I know they all have been done and now I can move on to other things like smooth mountain bike trails and tennis thanks so very much your so very talented thanks for helping me move on it's true I really was just wanting to see them done some people who don't play basketball don't understand that 🎉
