Honestly, I can't blame much their coach or their bench, or their supporting cast... Simply Anthony Edwards and Towns both should step up and put 25+ points. I was rooting for Dallas since beggining of this play off, but I have to be real... Minnesota could easily win both of these games. Simply their stars underperformed these 2 matches... The crazy thing is that he was averaging nearly a 34 point triple double in the regular season, so even with his knee injury his performance has basically not dropped at all. Man is absolutely insane and maintaining that pace throughout the entire season. Imagine how insane it would've been if he wasn't injured

What's even crazier is these averages are actually lower than they should be. Luka has had a very below average playoff run scoring wise which has dropped his playoff numbers. This is probably th lowest it will get because of injury

Luka isn't some super athlete and also plays at a slow pace already so he's not burning as much energy as others. He's also not consistently guarding the Kyrie's, Booker's, and Murray's of the world in higher altitude. That being said, his conditioning has to be better Also, Luka used to have the problem of wearing down late in games because of how bad his conditioning was. These few seasons have been better and he's slimmed down more. If he said he was tired, it was because he had to do everything for the team on offense while being targeted on defense

He had that problem ONE TIME, in 2022, when he was relaxing to long after playing the Eurocup in August. But over the year he got back in shape, reached the WCF and tryed everything while going down swinging in the WCF. His usage was 40% in the first view PO runs, Ant's so far is at 29% this PO run, and only 24% against the Mavs so far... And Luka was hitting game winners since his rookie season. This isnt a new thing for him to be clutch late in games. And btw... Luka has defended 15.7 FGA per game on average (opp FG% 41,8%) in the PO so far, Ant has defended 10.5 FGA per game (opp FG% 40,9%). Only Washington has defended more FGA on average for the Mavs. Ant is 4th behind Gobert, Towns, McDaniels on the Wolves. So stop the cap about Luka not being involved in the defense. One last thing... how about Ant works on his fundamentals, so that he doesnt has to rely on his athleticism all the time? You know, a reliable stepback 3 (like Luka), or a reliable Midrange Pullup Jumpshot (like SGA or Brunson), or some footwork and post moves (also like Luka or Brunson)... Just stop making excuses for the man. He is a professional athlete sho shouldnt need an oxigen mask to make it through a basketball game. I didnt watch footage so I don't know how much time Wemby was guarding Jokic directly, but who else would they have Wemby guarding? Or who else would they put on Jokic?
