Fun Fact: Luka Garza's uncle is Teoman Alibegovic, who is the all-time best scorer for the Slovenian national team - the same national team that Luka Doncic plays for (but a different generation of course).
I am a Purdue fan, but Garza is THE BEST BIG TEN CONF. STARTING CENTER I HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 50 YEARS. I have watching Big Ten basketball since 1969 when Rick Mount was playing at Purdue. That's right and I still have the deepest respect for Rick Mount ever since. But Garza IS THE REAL DEAL, HE IS THE MAN THIS YEAR IN THE BIG TEN. I LOVE HIS PLAY AT BOTH ENDS OF THE COURT IN EVERY GAME. GARZA IS A CREDIT TO THE CONF, THE GAME IN GENERAL, HIMSELF, AT IOWA, I LOVE THIS GUY FROM IOWA. HE IS FUN TO WATCH, HE IS A JOY TO WATCH AND GOD BLESS LUKA GARZA AND IOWA'S ENTIRE STARTING LINEUP THIS SEASON.
@@henryderma1577 Luka will be a hard working player in the NBA. He is loved and respected much by all Iowa University for years to come, but he's earned all that comes his way.
He is for sure a top 10 pick. He is the most complete offensive big to come out of the draft in the last 5 years. He can drive, dribble shoot, spot up, post up over either shoulder. His only real weakness is rebounding.
Defensively he will struggle in the league. Won’t be top 10(if he is maybe just cuz he’s POY or a top candidate) late 1st to 2nd. Will be a solid role player. If he were more mobile like K Portzigis, then maybe top 10. But if he keeps work ethic all things are possible.
