Do not stop this series bro. It's a different ye when hearing a man who actaulyy knows how to play football talk football. Giving insight into the licckle tings that most of us would miss.
@@RantsNBants There are people who see football as it should be played and then theres people who just see football Rants reacts is seeing football for how the game can be played with the highest technical ability, awareness and mind, would love to see a berbatov, busquests and cazorla comp. All three of these guys levels are underrated of the top of my head.
BIG UP VUJANIC for the knowledge. This generation of Bulkan Players have been through HELL ON EARTH. Obvs the kids and refugees from the Bulkan wars are all adults now. You can see in the way players from these countries play they GOT HEART CHARACTER DESIRE. Non Stop commitment. That's a real refugee trait. I have a feeling we'll see it with Syrian migrants in Europe and East African too
Modric is the best player I've seen live. European super cup Man United Vs Real Madrid in Macedonia. He is a sat nav, his awareness, passing range, technical ability. He was unreal.
Absolutely the best box to box midfielder ever. For me he is definitely number 1. I mean, 5 UCL and 2nd and 3rd place in the World Cup. The dude bossed 2 greatest competitions in football for a decade and more. Enough said.
He knows what to do in every situation on the football field and then splits defences and midfields apart with one pass just because he can. Disrespectful levels
You know the thing about modric yh, he just makes everything look so simple and majestic, he is the definition of a maestro in midfield, people can't understand, watching this guy week in week in his prime was something else, he could do everything and he was a hardworker as well, infact he is still doing the hardwork now at 35! If you watch r.madrid games, he is class man and it's so good to see you recognize this Rants, I'm sure you would have loved watching him week in week out as well, just different levels, I hope more people keep recognizing what a talent he was and still is, absolute baller.
My guy is back with another Worldie Luka Modric would walk into any midfield in any great team across any era. Impeccable technique His beauty is that he doesn't have to rely on style of play to play good For example He could walk into a Juve and play a deep midfield orchestrator + intercepter He could walk into Peps Barca and City teams and play positional football He can play in some pure counter attack teams like Madrid He can literally play in a shit Spurs team and still be good Wavy baller
Luka Modric is incredibly underrated man. I feel in this country he gets overlooked because he played for Spurs but he's a baller bro, even as a gooner myself he's definitely one of my favourite midfielders of this generation 💯💯
Great react bro, Moddas is def a diff kind of animal to any one I compare him to, he is the best of the best for my money. No other midfielder has the vision, the balance, the reaction time, the shot, the dribble, the pass that he has. He is plenty too strong to all comparisons, and the closer he is to retirement, the more convinced I am that we wont see another Modric take the field in some years. Elegance, pure elagence!
Hello Sir First time I saw a video from you. If I may, I thought it was brilliant. You dear sir, imo, perceived the essence of Luka Modric. Thank you for your thorough analysis. I will look to you for further wisdom.
Modric is ice cold. He's overlooked because like you said he is literally walking around at his own pace while playing football and not running like a headless chicken or doing knee slides
Interesting, he had it all as a kid and was developing mostly physically and mentally through his career. His balance, moves, reactions, turns, both feet, outside foot, etc. it all comes from when he was 7 and played against the refugee hotel wall all alone. He played many matches vs that wall :) Then local club coach heard about a lil kid who could do anything with the ball
If Luka would be willing to play as a dm play maker he can play until he is 40. I think he would still be an option for United if you have someone who can be the engine next to him.
Great vid rants, keep it going! Imo Xavi’s footbal iq is so high that he doesnt need the flashy tools, like Cruyff used to say “playing football is simple but playing simple football is the hardest thing to do.”.He was like a lvl above all other midfielders back in the day, keeping the likes of thiago en fabregas on the bench at barca. When Xavi left tiki taka died.
And i fully agree, but personally i also think modric is better (not that it matters, theyre both among the goats). as was mentioned, luka’s versatility is frankly ridiculous. He can play as a cdm, cm & cam, and do all the roles of a football player perfectly at once (under any different system/style of play). Not to mention his vision & insane magic touch, watching him is like music, his movement is so rhythmic, never seen a player like him ever.
I'm a huge xavi fan but I'll give you this one....Luca over xavi, pirlo, inesta, scholes Thing is Luca can play as a CAM, CDM or box to box at world class level and he can do everything all the mentioned names can.
Loving the series my guy. I think it’s about time we see the 99 shot power on PES, aka the Emperor aka Adriano! One of the most lethal left foots I’ve seen in my life.
The partnership with Kroos and Casemiro is the best of all time. I love Xavi, Sergio and Iniesta but those three just too wavy. Modric is pure baller ♥️
There was a game at the euros I think, Croatia v Spain, he ran the show, was amazing, Spain did win in the end though. United missed out on him twice, big shame!

rants i feel like modric is a smaller version of yaya toure howver looks more graceful on the eye and a better dribbiller slightly but both can do all things a midlfielder needs to do
Its annoyed me when Man United had the chance to sign Modric at the time he was available on transfer in 2012 but fair play to him going to Real Madrid was the best decision ever to his career
@@patchh15 it was a slim chance once Man United had to tussle with Real Madrid to sign him there's gonna be only one winner in that battle just like us imagine when Madrid came calling its hard to turn down a move there😂😂
Scholes, Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta and probably some others Modric gets compared to all were probably better than him in terms of attacking or creative play. However, this guy is an all-round monster, he does absolutely everything.
