Lost my wife this year... only 1.5 month after our wedding... and every time i listen to this song it remembers me what i have lost... now every day is a fight to stand up and go on... PS: thx for all the condolences... i feel much better at the moment and can laugh again and be happy... it's hard to understand why everything happened so quick and to lost somebody that you know about 20 years. But life must go on.
I know this song is about family but after I lost my dog and my true friend who helped me through my 6 years of depressed and darkness, it's so hard to listen to this song and not cry for real. He and also a part of my soul has gone. Everyday is my fight too. Cheers man.

on Wednesday the 21st of April my wife gave birth to the most precious little girl i've ever come across. after spending the night holding her in my arms 24hrs no sleep I went home and napped for about 40 min before I was needed, on my way back to the hospital this song was playing on the radio and it hit me in my heart. Watching this music video now for the first time, it all makes sense.

All we have to do is open our hearts and minds to Him. It’s amazing what happens when you make the conscious effort to trust Him, over and over again.
Is he really there for you though, is he actually waiting? How do you know for sure he exists? Good thing you were born in the right religion and not one of the other 3000 wrong ones. It's tough believing that a book, written by random scribes almost 3000 years ago had it right. I'd love to trust him, but why put "conscious effort" in something that cannot be proven, and follow an outdated ideology. As long as He and your faith makes you feel good though, that's all that matters in the end I guess.
