Lukashivka in Chernihiv Oblast was under the occupation of Russian troops for 21 days. Russian soldiers drove around the village in tanks, stole livestock and looted houses. The occupiers searched local residents and looked for wounded Ukrainian soldiers. They set up headquarters in the local church and hid weapons there. The armed forces of Ukraine liberated the village at the end of March.
