Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton attended the premiere of "Bridgerton" in London. Their moments together were once again the talk of the fans, from their matching outfits, and the way Luke apologizing for accidentally stepping on Nicola's dress, to their never-ending hand-holding sessions.
Luke couldn’t stop holding Nicola’s hand even during the photoshoot with the "Bridgerton" cast. And look at how cute it was when Luke was ready to grab Nicola's hand, thinking she wanted to hold him. 🤭
Additionally, there were moments with the "Bridgerton" family, Claudia, Luke Thompson, and Hannah. There was also praise from Simone Ashley for Nicola and Luke.
Moreover, in one interview with Luke and Nicola, fans now know that Nic and Luke's favorite meme is the random appearance of fingers everywhere. 😭
And then in a personal interview, Luke shared how he and Nicola became friends since they first met; they connected instantly without having to try hard to build chemistry.

They are both actors so they can put on a good show when making appearances and promoting their projects, but Nicola has said that during filming the crowd scenes that she or he has had to take a moment because they are both introverts.

Both are introverted and Luke has ADHD which means he's a constant fidget and has high anxiety, and during interviews he forgets his train of thought sometimes. So Nicola holds onto him because she finds being the centre of attention hard, but also to steady Luke too. I don't see them as a couple, but see them as close friends supporting each other. I think it's a beautiful friendship.

Good for them. He can date who he wants and honestly, he’s not mature enough for Nicola, nor is he her equal intellectually. However, from a PR perspective, he probably should have kept his private life private and held off on parading the girl on premiere night. Some of these shippers are intense and he may face some backlash, unfortunately.

Frankly deep down, I am sure many of us knew it was part PR. Honestly, they are like Jennifer Aniston/David Schwimmer who never dated in real life despite having feelings. At least they're good friends/soul mate level/special bond who genuinely like each other which comes across in those interviews. Friendship itself is beautiful and just found out he gave her a camera. Hopefully in future, no wld break this bond between them.

I think they're both neurodivergent (ADHD, Dyslexia for Luke and Anxiety/overwhelm around many people for too long for both). I think they're hand holding is how they stay grounded and less nervous.

I think it was just cause it was the final day for the promotion and he was quite nervous that day as well because it was quite a few interviews where he was on his own and I could tell he was a little bit uncomfortable. Then criticism my head about the outfit was I didn’t like the veil like she looks so gorgeous she didn’t need all of that maybe if it was like a semi transparent bit from say her shoulders or something that would look better but I wasn’t one wearing it so

I've seen a vidoe when he had to extract his hand from hers, he looked so uncomfortable it was cringe, she wouldn't let go.. he keeps saying we're friends...that's it I'm done deluding myself...heart smashed to pieces..

Watching them over the last few weeks they are definitely close friends which is understandable considering filming together since the start of Bridgerton but I don’t see romance there. Perhaps they had a fling during filming? They have done an excellent job though of getting everybody hyped for part 2. I wonder what they’ll do after Bridgerton ends.

I think he was simply trying to help nicola hug comfortably because that's a really odd pause frankly, and maybe it might be hurting his hand a bit. Not everything is dramatic in real life. I'm pretty sure he didn't mind the hand holding at all because they did all the way.
