We need another movie. We wanna see them build a life together and start a family despite all they went through. We wanna see luke back in the army and running marathons; we wanna see Casey touring living her dream and the toll it takes on their marriage. We wanna see them overcome all that and find their way back to each other. We NEED the hope casey and luke inspires.
The movie is by far so good the reason I liked it is it has less intimating scenes and really have a story. Love is not translated as only intimacy this movie explained it well.
I don't get why people hate her. I liked her since the beginning. She had a nice heart. She had her opinions and her ethical code, which she didn't try to force to anyone. She was just expressing her opinions. I respect her for that. The only thing that really annoyed me is that she didnt even asked him how he was when she went to the hospital, she wasnt empathetic.Luke had a nice heart too, enen though,I believe,he had to apologize for the rude things he said to her.
i thought that hospital scene was the weakest scene in the movie. it was kinda weird though b/c his family was there and they were just seeing each other after having been apart for months albeit they had slept together they werent or didnt realize that they loved each other yet. imo
It would be so good to see her kids her husband and his parents and her mother in the crowd while she's singing the songs that she wrote by herself and he approved off
This movie should be a mini tv series with like 2 seasons maybe and 20-30 episodes. Where we can see how they fall in love in detail and u know what happens after they get back together in the movie. I hope they do a mini series with the same cast.
I can see why Luke assumed she was rich and entitled. I couldn’t stand her at the beginning of this film. She grew on me as the story continued though. Those two were great together and really sold the romance.
@@maliamalis6389That’s your opinion and you're entitled to it. But that isn’t what I said. Cassie was rude. She made assumptions about everyone and was always picking a fight. So yes, I found her extremely unlikable. Not because of what she believed (though I don't believe all her opinions expressed were the indisputable truth as you seem to) but because of how she treated people while expressing those beliefs. No one has ever been shamed into an open mind.
Unpopular opinion. I think they way they fell in love was odd. This movie moved way to fast. En i feel like we needed more time to see their love actually grow
It's not uncommon to fall in love through letter writing. It's a very intimate act putting all your thoughts and feelings on paper for someone else to read.
Okay but like.... if they are legally married how can you say it's fake. So they did it so she could receive benefits, so what? Who cares? They're married. They don't require you to be in love to be married.
Fr. I don't understand this, too. In a world where arranged marriages happen everyday, why is this considered fraudulent? 🤔 How can love be measured anyway?
I knew soldiers who got married just to move into off base housing, then divorced just a few months later. Nothing happened to them at all. Also knew lots of women who married soldiers stationed overseas (especially Germany and Korea) just to get citizenship and divorced them as soon as they were legal. No punishment. So...this seems like a far-fetched storyline, especially them going after a wounded veteran. He never would have been charged, much less jailed for it. It was a good movie otherwise, but...yeah. Not realistic storywise.
His dealer was really mad and filed the report with tons of evidence. This is just a movie with a very small budget. It's not meant to be the most realistic thing.😊
LOVE THIS! It's almost like a summary of the whole movie. In addition, I strongly believe that this movie should come back with a part two. Why? Well because it was the best movie Sofia Carson very acted in. I can see this movie going in different directions but one way could be be where Luke takes a year or two off from his military job and use that to spend time with Cassie by remarrying her the right way with their friends and family at their wedding and Luke helping Cassie out with her music career. I don't know how this could be adding in the film but that down the road we see that Cassie and Luke end up having kids together that take after them and do the same things like they to do in life. Maybe the having kids part can be something that gets saved for a third movie but who knows, maybe it can be a little 5 to 10 minute movie ending scene that gets people wanting another Purple Heart movie. If we all blow up every chat box for everything about Purple Heart that we want another one that I'm sure it could happen someday at some point but it does like take a year or two to get everything filmed and edit before we could see the new movie. Being it had taken so long for the first one to come out, I beet it would be the same with the next one. Being that I love this movie and I bet others do as well, I would like it if you guys can turn the story I am working on into a good one like this movie was. I'm using Sofia Carson and Nicholas Galitzine as the main characters for my story being I think there love was real, not for just there characters but for there real selfs. If you want to help then kindly open the link and have at it. Do whatever you can to make it as good as this movie was. As great as a part 2 would be, Luke could never get hired anywhere except if he started his own business. I don’t know where they could go from there except him being a stay at home husband and her pursuing her musical career.
Sorry but I still kinda hate her. " I NEVER NEEDED YOU " She says after cajoling anybody to marry her to get life saving medical help. Man risked his relationship with his family, getting caught by drug dealers, and jail for this girl and she can't even stand up for him at the court Marshall. Naww he deserved better
He accepted the deal at first for his own gain not for her. He was owing some guys and needed to pay. Yes, later he decided to take the punches for her and she decided to wait. I think the story is great.
He did it for his own gain and endangered her mom's life. I see why she wanted nothing to do with him since if he is still around the threat is still active considering he led her into the deal blindedly while she showed her cards
He didnt risk his relationship with his family, he clearly didnt have a relationship with his father already. Watching the movie made that pretty clear.
interesting movie. summery> Boy and girl both need money he has drug debts she can't afford insulin. they get married to get benefits not out of love. he goes to war and gets injured comes home and everything kinda falls apart as he gets found out and eventually turned in to the Military police by his drug dealer. before serving his 6 months in the slammer the girl writes a song and confesses her love for him and after he's released it's happier ever after.
This movie had a lot of cringe moments throughout its lenght, but the moments they had together especially when they were bonding, man i swear as a single dud, that destroyed me. These moments were so beautiful.
Great movie! They loved each other after their first interaction at the bar over his choice of a soda instead of alcohol at a bar, showing he was unlike the other guys. The movie did great at showing the heart wants what it wants. They both were right for each other but afraid to let each other in. Great story line!
It's based on a book. And the movie can't show more than 2 hours when they have in fact 3-4 hour movie before it got cut down. The part when he said "let her be a rockstar first, kids later", him apologizing for endangering her and her mom, and the last part when he shouldered all the blame so she and her blossoming career can be spared. I feel these show how he actually understands her and is starting to change. Idk, that's just my interpretation, I guess. It's also just a movie, a very low budget at that. No one expected it to be #1 and blow up. It's just for entertainment. Just fiction. We don't really expect it to be the most realistic movie out there.
He should have just let his drug dealer delete her and then collect the insurance and paid him off and come out on top. Win win... that's how much i liked her in this movie. 😂
I clicked this because I saw Nicholas and I did not like it …😭😭 idk why I didn’t like it they are 2 Sofia and Nicolas are 2 of my favorite actors so why didn’t I like this-
