I've been seeing a few youtube folks taking a stab at this song and that is awesome, but I promise, the song is played in drop C standard tuning. If there are parts in the song that are not tuned that way, it isn't present in the mix enough of the recording for it to matter if you're using one guitar. (I do not own any rights to this song)

Yes! This is what it's supposed to be played in. I kept seeing people play in all kinds of tunings for it with the clips and all. I swear it's in drop c. I play in drop c alot. That and open G. E standard too, my fiancé plays in e standard. I like how you remind of a friend that used to talk like you. Keep up the good work man.

This version is drop C standard tuning. After watching the live version when it came out, I do believe the lead electric when they play it live is in regular drop C but I still believe the studio version is drop C standard. Whatever sounds good and is fun to play while respecting the song. Recently I've been playing it in standard because singing and playing, that works for my voice better. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I need to get back to making more!

On my channel I did a full demo in Drop C. I’m a metalhead my guitars were set to go that low lol

The bottom line is getting that low C note for sure. I messed with it in Drop C a while too and I just found Drop C standard to work for me. The high notes of the arpeggiated parts seemed right. I watched your vid, great work!
