@@jiji7250It's anticlimactic. Like Obi-Wan realized Luke was getting weirded out so he just cut himself off by using the tamest conversation segway ever as if that would undo everything he just said. It's nonsensical. And it only makes the rant that came beforehand all the weirder (and hilarious) because of it. If we're looking at it from a strictly Star Wars standpoint, it's a reference to when Obi-Wan told Luke about Anakin in ANH while purposefully leaving out some, err, really important details. This video is kind of the opposite, where he's giving *way* too much detail, but he ends the conversation in the same way. The sudden slingshot from Obi-Wan's Ahsoka rant to a familiar line which is almost hyper-normal by comparison to what he just said is funny.

I’ll tell you, this lost footage really does add a lot of depth to the characters and their backstories. I know LucasFilm takes a lot of flack for going back and adding and making changes to what are truly classic films. But I am confident this should make it into the next Directors Cut.
