This is one of the best films I have seen in the last decade. I myself could never engage in a polyamorous relationship just because I have an intense jealous side and I never judged people who are in relationships like that but this film gave me a way better understanding and respect for them.
The culture Marston was in insisted that men be dominant over women, but Marston had found his bliss in moments of submission to powerful competent women, and he wanted to share that joy with the rest of the world. He was not a submissive male, he could be very powerful and dominant as well, but choosing to be submissive when he wanted to show his love really enriched his life.
The lady in the red dress is Rebecca Hall 😊and is a real professional and extremely bright. She should be known more by those that give out awards. Look her movie history up. There only wiki info on her because she is very private which is how it should be if actors want.
I just feel like because the director was gay she wanted to make it seem like there was a closer relationship between the two women and they just used the man for a cover up. I mean Olive said she didn't even love him and that she loved her.
