Forget QB, this guy is the ultimate x-factor for the upcoming season.

I think pre-snap motion with Bowers is going to be especially important, watching how the defense reacts to him shifting across the line to be offset next to Mayer to get an overload, or split out to the slot next to Tae or Jacobi on the backside and see what the linebacker/nickel corner do. It should give whoever gets the QB1 job some easy reads on 3rd and 5-7. Bowers can run the full route tree, and very few defenders can just cover him iso, especially when he’s in an H-Back position or in the slot. So you bring down a safety to help on Bowers, and DA just burns you over the top or works a dig to the deep middle against cover 3. Obviously if we can run at least 65% of our offense out of 12 personnel, and we’re effective in the run game, we’ll be a matchup nightmare for defenses. My Predictions: Bowers and Mayer combine for 1700 Yards and 18 TDs, Tae goes off for 1100 yards and 12 TDs, leads the league in TDs over 20 yards, QB1 3900 yards 37 TDs 10 INT, Zamir White 930 yards 7 TDs, top 5 in broken tackles and yards after contact. Defense Top 8 in the League, Maxx Crosby top 3 (at least) In DMVP, Christian Wilson has 10+ sacks, Tyree Wilson gets a ton of 1v1s opposite Maxx, finishes top 15 as a pass rusher and top 10 in TFL, the Raiders go 11-6 beating the Broncos twice, the Chargers twice, and splitting against the Chiefs, we face the Steelers in the Wild card, we win end up playing the Texans (win)then the chiefs in the AFC championship, our defense carries the day, we sack Mahomes 7 times, we win 24-17. We face the 49ers in the title game, and the Autumn Wind is a Raider, and the Silver and Black are champs once more. It’s a dream, but it’s MY dream!

Glad we have Zeus, and I think he could be a great back in the NFL, but I’m gonna miss Jacobs. Josh is one of the best backs in Raider history, and I’ve been watching since 1970.

#1 - I love when the rest of the league and pundits sleep on the Raiders. All the 'experts' are predicting we will be worse than last year. Time will tell - but I have a bit of hope. #2 - Speaking of 'hope' - I've felt this way many times in the past 20 years only to be kicked in the nuts. Until game day, it's all words and conjecture.

I have a good feeling about the upcoming season, haven't felt that in awhile. Teams will fear us!! I think people will be surprised from the qb position. Have faith and stay positive Raider nation. I've been a fan for 50 years and my fav player was the snake. Garner is a free spirit like stabler, hilarious!!

Interested in the case's of making everything look the same. I remember long ago when I started watching the great 49er teams with so many plays where exactly the same look, but would change after the the ball snap or adjustable before the ball snap. This really makes a impact on the defense trying to stop you and helps play making players on the offensive side hard to stop.

If this offense is not top 10 it falls squarely on the shoulders of the OC. Minshew is more than capable in AOC will probably take a huge step. A decent coordinator with all these weapons can make an elite offense
