This man was dope before "The New Edition Story". One of the only artists to have a mixtape nominated for a Grammy. His time is coming, tho. He's gonna do some bigger things.
cant believe this song hasn't hit 1 million views yet and its been 2 years such a shame people don't support his music he is very talented and dosen't talk about cliche things. btw this is a great song with a powerful message .
I had an unplanned pregnancy when I was still in college. I didn't have a career yet, and my boyfriend had a low income job. My parents tried to force me to have an abortion. I refused. So my mom threatened to disown me. But I still refused to have an abortion. Despite having a baby when I wasn't ready, I thank the Lord for blessing me with a healthy, happy child. I wouldn't change it for the world. This is a lovely song, minus Rick Ross' part. Lol
Whoa, I felt this! I ain't never went through what he's singing about, but the way he SANG this, and the cinematic and thematic dark-intense, emotional elements he did on this video, sold it all to touch my core.
You don't have many real men, especially in the industry nowadays talking real shit! I love and appreciate this song for that.. For Real... We need more of this!
I love me some Luke James with his beautiful self! He is beyond talented and underrated. I've been hip to him for at least 3 years now.... Your time is coming sweetheart!
An actual artist injecting meaning into popular music. Luke is pretty much alone in a sea of carelessness and banality, and I hope he gets enough fan and label support to stay above water.
His performance on the NE movie brought me. He always looked familiar but I didn't know he was actually an artist with Grammy Nods! He is an talented young man and hopefully the NE movie brings him a larger fan base and more recognition to his talent.
Love it, Rick Ross and all. In my opinion nothing of Luke James can be ruined by anything or anyone. He is a fantastic artist and him working with bigger artists, rappers, singers etc. that's just telling his fans where his career is going. Keep it up, Luke James we (fans) are watching.
I was worried that Rick Ross would be the demise of this single...surprisingly he added a dope verse. A lot of R&B artists use Rap features to create more buzz for a single but Luke didn't compromise his artistry like some do. This jawn goes. Good job bae ;-) lol. I'll forever be a Luke James fan.
OMG, why is this so underrated? I don't get it! This should be a mega platinum hit. Don't people recognize good music these days? Damn! I am so loving this. :)
