Luke LOVES This! 

I love how much Luke is talking, how much his funny personality is showing through. I remember when my two little ones (1 is deaf and 1 is hard of hearing, so different reasons for speech delay, but…) would make leaps and bounds with their speech it was so exciting.

I was dying when Christopher was talking about all the fun outside activities that the kids can do. “Trampoline, treehouse, zip line, basketball hoop, hole.” Such a Christopher thing to say. 😂😂 Edit: I also live for the, “Let’s talk about what we learned today”

The fact that Luke unrolls his neighbourhood carpet by himself is sooooo cute

My family is Iraqi and baklava is a staple in our house for special occasions. But we pronounce it baklawa. I definitely recommend getting it from an Arab/middle eastern bakery, so it’s fresh. Loved seeing the kids try it and fall in love.

I remember when Luke was born and there were many unknowns about his condition and you weren’t sure if he would be able to communicate. Jacob asking Luke to play and his excitedly saying “YEAH” just made me tear up🥺 so proud of Luke

The way you described that very nice SoCal weather was perfect. It's sunny and you feel its warmth, but it's not hot to the point where it's beading down on you and making you sweaty. It's just the perfect amount of heat, often mixed with a cool breeze, that makes it such lovely weather. It's also my favorite type of Southern California weather.

So there's actually a ton of fun stuff for the kids to do out here, they've got the Trampoline Tree house Zip line Basketball hoop Hole 😂🤣😂🤣💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 Oh my goodness, that's the most incredible thing I've ever seen.

These trampoline games are so interesting. I went to a public school on the east coast and somehow grew up playing the same games as these southern Californian home schooled kids. How interesting!

Ohh i love Baklava! There are a lot of different versions of it, not just by nationality but by flavours! I personally enjoy the turkish baklava filled with pistachios and A LOT of syrup the most 😍 there is also versions with various nuts or coconut shavings too. Arabic versions sometimes have rosewater added to them which has a unique taste as well. Baklava is just great in all shapes and flavours 😁 glad you guys enjoyed it aswell! ❤️

My family is Dutch and every year we make ollebollin which is Dutch for oil balls 😂 it’s basically a giant donut hole that is fried and covered in powdered sugar! Traditionally filled with candied fruit or raisins. My family also likes to put apples in it and cover it in cinnamon sugar (even though that’s not necessarily the traditional Dutch way to do it) we also eat a lot of stroop waffles and croquettes. Then at night before for St. Nicholas comes (which is actually on the 5th of December not the 25th because that is his birthday) we leave our wooden shoes out for him to put gifts in! It’s a family tradition that my grandma has done since she was a kid and a tradition we have kept alive since she passed in 2012. Much love to you and your family I love watching your vlogs ❤️

Mmm , my grandma and I make the BEST baklava. My grandma immigrated from Greece and learned to make baklava from her grandma. Usually it is crispy instead of chewy and we make the syrup a little lemony. You have not eaten baklava until you’ve eating homemade baklava (particularly MY homemade baklava😄)

Every year Vlogmas makes me so happy, but this year I am especially grateful for it. Today I found out I have COVID (AGAIN)- I had COVID once in 2020 and, I'm fully vaccinated + have done as much as I can to stop the spread. So still getting it, for a second time at that, and on Christmas week has broken my heart and discouraged me so much- so few people in my southern state care. But this video made me smile today, as all your videos do. Your love for each other and the world has brought me so much joy for the past 6 years I have been watching you guys. I'm encouraged knowing there are good and kind people, such as yourselves, doing all you can to be safe and end this pandemic, too.
