I was a huge fan of the show and in the prime demographic at the time, but now looking back with the benefit of maturity, the mobs and the fawning are embarrassing to watch. We build celebrities up so much in our minds that they take on a non-human quality. I give credit to those like Luke who managed to keep it in perspective, even at an age where it would’ve been very easy to do the opposite
