He’s a Perth boy. I remember years ago when I worked at a Dick Smith on Scarborough beach Rd ( that’s basically radio shack for Americans ) one morning he came to buy a bunch of random leads and cables. Bare foot in a two piece suit. Huge infectious smile, I have to say he was the nicest bloke.

He seems so much less weird than I thought he'd be. He's just like so chill and I love it.

I love how humble he is. He's just a real good guy. I wish him continued success.

Glad there are lots of us who appreciate these. Not always commercially accessible to most but I think they’re brilliant. Last group to hit me the way they do was Jamiroquai back in the 90s. Just a group that stands out doing their own thing. Really great band

When he talks about the business part and the money he reminds me of David Bowie, He had went through the same thing when he was Ziggy and with the Spiders from Mars. Their shows were elaborate productions when they toured and as long as the band had everything they wanted and needed on the road and the productions went well they didn't think about the money. When tour was over and all was said and done Bowie was broke. If there was anything left over after it all their manager took it. That was a huge eye opener for David as well as many other artist who have ended up in the same boat. I think that is what Luke is saying here.

Luke Steele, you have an impressive voice. I'm so glad you exist in my world. In one song you've managed to get to the level before perfect, and that's the best an artist has done in my hear. Alice :D is on here way up.

I just discovered these guys and stumbled on one of their videos. Love stumbling into rad art. I so it a lot and find more and more that I stop and recognize the moment I am actually falling in love with a band, I love you RU-vid for how you somehow feed me what I want and then once in awhile you introduce something new.

If this hasn't been discontinued, it likely means a realease in 2022 when things get back to normal. Quite understandable not releasing an album this year or last year, not to mention they've taken this long before anyway. Please let it be true! I want to hear new music and see them live next year!

His parents raised him well. They should be very, very proud. I am 61yrs old, influenced heavily by an older brother 9yrs my senior. So to me there are the Beatles and then way down, down is everyone else, so i know he was influenced and inspired by the best there ever was. I am very excite by distant rumors of a new Empire of the Sun album or song possibly coming, but im really just hoping to get the chance to perhaps see them live....bucket list item for this old classic rock guy. Fingers crossed...a tampa fla, show maybe....???? Best band since the new milinium i think...even though i just found them not many years ago. RU-vid....put that old Ibizza video back up....walking on a dream/we are the people. That video change my life and my thinking about new music. Peace everybody

Luke cracks me up with laughter. He is a master of saying NOTHING...LOL...it's not that he has nothing to say, but he GIVES us nothing of his inner, inner core....and the more I love him for being such a melody MASTER in my life who keeps his mystique. I'd love to meet him and play music with him, but it's also OK if he dwells in that grey, etherial, area to me..a musical angel I guess:). A true hero of mine.
